"I hired George Hunt to build a Trex deck last year. He was professional about estimates and issues with the build. I needed a dog ramp for my dachshund since the deck is over 5’ high . George worked with me to design a highly useful, yet attractive integral dog ramp to my backyard. His crew was courteous, helpful and worked very well together. The lumber needed for the deck was high quality, as was the decking material. I was impressed with the careful work they did and with the results. I love my new deck and have used it for most of the seasons. I love the views I have from the deck. My dog also enjoys the views and the cleverly constructed ramp. "My deck was built ahead of schedule, as Bruce fit me in, when another customer did not have the requisite permits. Rain held up completion, despite starting early, but then the contractor doesn't have control over either weather or climate. I have to note too that whereas earlier reviewers said that there could be delays in getting Bruce to respond to messages, I experienced nothing of the kind. He responded quickly, even immediately. Decksunlimited's carpenters, Bill and Joe, did an exceptional job on my deck, tearing out the old one and rebuilding a new one, even exceeding expectations. There is no exposed wood; everything is clad either in vinyl, or sections of composite floorboard. It is extremely solid and attractive, and I expect that it will outlive me. Further, Bill and Joe found some bad water damage to my house, which I knew was there, just not as bad as revealed, due to poor workmanship on improvements by previous homeowners. They repaired it extremely well, and in accordance with the contract I signed with Bruce, and for less money than I expected. Now, would I recommend decksunlimited and its people to others? It's a moot question, as I already have, and talked them up on Facebook too. Consider this review another recommendation, to anyone who reads it."
