"The team did an excellent job and were very efficient. We were able to expedite the date of our work which was an added bonus! We had a parking pad installed with crushed rock, stone dust finish, along with underlying dry well system for our nearby gutters. The team is extremely hard working and despite pouring rain finished the entire job in less than a day. We will be looking to hire again."

"Tracy and Bob are very professional! I had no issues with install. Every year they turn on and winterize my system. I had my septic system pumped and the company punctured a hole in one of my lines. Bob came out to home promptly to fix the problem. Prices are very reasonable. I get so many compliments on how well my grass looks."

"Very responsive and professional! They are very fair on the price. Three other neighbors also signed up with them too and they are extremely happy like me! I intend to repeat the same lawn care service from R&A in the future!"

"I sought estimates from two companies & Lisco came in substantially lower than the other estimate -- while seeming more professional. After the initial estimate acceptance, irrigation team showed up as scheduled and installed entire irrigation system in a day. The lawn took some abuse in the process -- as expected -- but it hardly shows & the team was generally very careful to minimize damage as much as possible. They closed all trenches, smoothed any bare soil & re-seeded where necessary. Very thorough, walking me through the controller operation twice."

"Salt Box prepared a detailed plan on paper and went over it with us in detail. We had an opportunity to ask questions and request changes. Salt Box walked us around the nursery and showed us the plants that would be used and explained why. <br /> The work was a little late in being done but no big deal. The job was completed in one day. The crew was professional and thorough. They did exactly what they said they would do. <br />"

"I picked Nilton Freitas and his Primo Irrigation based on strong Angie's List reviews. I liked that he is mid-sized, not too small and not corporate, and also that he supports community teams. That judgment proved correct. <br /> Nilton responded the same day to my phone inquiry, came a day or two later to provide a quote, and he explained the options clearly. He was able to fit in the job a few days later. It turned out to take more time than he expected due to roots, but he did not charge more. He used top-quality components. One evening he stayed late on his own after letting his crew knock off. <br /> A few days into using the new system, we needed a couple of adjustments. Nilton came the next day, swapped a couple of spray heads and adjusted others. He also explained some details of the new control panel, and advised on best watering times and frequency.     <br /> Six weeks later, our lawn has been transformed. Much thicker and more even. <br /> It was a great experience working with Primo Irrigation and Nilton. I would strongly recommend him, without reservation. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Bridgewater, MA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
