"Don’t ever use this chimney service. Robert Harris was not honest. We asked him to do a full camera inspection for our chimney in Jan. We paid him cash. We trusted him bc it was recommended by our contractor. Robert never gave us the receipt. He said he will send us the full report. Almost 2 mths no reports. We confronted him, he said his camera first time didn’t work. He came back, took more pics. Finally we got the report, he said everything in our chimney is bad and unsafe. Our chimney was never cleaned which is not true. It would cost us over $20,000 to fix it. Mind you, we have had another chimney co. cleaning our chimney every yr and everything was fine. We thought our normal co didn’t have camera inspection. That’s why we used Robert. Robert is also a weird person. Before he left our house, he asked if he could have one of our oranges. The bottom line is you better be careful if you do decide to use Robert’s service. Terrible service and terrible person!"

"Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. It all went well and we were pleased to have hired Chimney Savers and Mark Schaub and his crew. His estimate was fair."

The three crews which came to my house were all very professional, although the lead tech at the first visit did not measure, so the special order cap did not fit and a second one had to be ordered. "Jim Farley was amazing. He came out on a Sunday, the day after I called and spent 3 hours cleaning nests out of my chimney caps and one lodged in the vent going to my hot water heater. It was lodged so high and so tightly that I am convinced anyone else would have said they couldn’t get to it and left but Jim was so tenacious that he kept at it until he finally got it out. I can’t speak highly enough of Jim and his service."
