"If I could give them 10 stars I would. I had Garden State Home Remodeling come to pave my old torn up driveway and yard space and replace with asphalt. This was my first major home project and I was really nervous. Kelvin walked me thru the entire process from beginning to end. Kelvin was so professional and answered every question I had. Everything I asked for was done over and beyond. The crew did an excellent job on my driveway/yard. I’m more than happy and will use their services again!"

"Great work! They fixed a rotted door frame and a damaged window sill. The work was clean and solid, and the price was fair. They also replaced a few missing shingles at no extra cost. You’ll get someone who shows up, does the job right, and helps you avoid future problems. I will be using them again - highly recommend."

"We completely redid our bathroom which included changing the layout, a very complex redo of plumbing lines, new concrete bathroom floor and installation of everything new and shiny. Dave was able to turn around this scary project into a wonderfully crafted beautiful looking bathroom. He is a very super detail oriented passionate artist. The project also included demo and installation of new tiles for the passage outside the bathroom and a new sliding barn door. Unlike other contractors, we had complete freedom in selecting the materials. Dave helped us throughout this tedious process via video calls and texts. Dave also had brilliant ideas and always gave us varying cost effective options for even the tiniest details. He was very transparent and patient with us. Thanks Dave and modern home improvements for this wonderful experience."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Tecnobuild is fantastic! Theo and his team are relentless about quality. They want your renovation dreams to come true and they work very hard to make it happen. They are flexible and will work around your schedule. They work with the township on permits and inspections. They involve the homeowners in every step of the work to make sure everything meets your expectations. We have a beautiful bathroom we can be proud of at a reasonable price. We've used Tecnobuild several times and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Bridgewater, NJ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
