I had a gas leak last week in the heart of the coldest weather in ten years: PSE&G just shut off the gas and left; and Alex was the only plumber who responded, to my urgent calls for help as the house cooled down. He was reassuring, came that day to take a look, arrived punctually with a helper the next day, and did a 3-hour repair (it involved work outside and in a crawl space) quickly, efficiently, and professionally. He cleaned up thoroughly, and left me with heat back on and hot water restored. PSE&G came the next day to remove the red tag and approve his work. All this for a third of the price the big companies wanted to charge me! "We had a new washing machine installed by Home Depot and when we started our first load the entire full washing machine of water flooded down thru the floors to the kitchen. We called PipeWorks for an emergency visit because we thought a pipe burst. Mario from PipeWorks came and found that Home Depot did not attach the water drain pipe securely on the back of the washing machine – it had popped off the back. So $404 later Mario saved the day. He spent alot of time testing the machine at different cycles to make sure there were no more leaks. I would highly recommend PipeWorks & Mario for any regular or emergency plumbing project. But shame on Home Depot for their shoddy installation."

Mike kept his promise, arrived at the time he said he would and got the job done. The developer installed our roman tub in a manner that now years later when the faucet and handles needed replacement there was no easy access. KSP had to literally cut through the tile to have access for replacing the faucet. The work was so expertly handled you can't even notice where they cut and then replaced the tile. This saved having to get a mason or carpenter. KSP's work was above and beyond excellent and at a fair price point. Five star."

"While looking for a plumber to inspect and replace a leaking water heater, I found Rapid Repairs.  I called the number, and was directed to send a text message if I needed a emergent response.  After only a few minutes, I got a response in a text message addressing my issue.  They were professional and answered my questions as best he could without being at my house.  I even got estimates based on my answers.  The only reason I did not utilize their service was that I needed hot water immediately, and they were already on multiple service calls, meaning the earliest they could come out would be Monday.

As a single woman running my own home and being very particular.....it is extremely important to be able to discuss the job, hear all the details, and employ someone who is honest, honorable, well qualified, neat, and highly informed. I first hired Rob for the drain problem. He accomplished that efficiently and neatly at a reasonable price. We discussed options for a back up for the sump pump. Having a finished basement, I am always concerned about water. I have never lost electricity during a rain storm....but the possibility always takes up space in my brain. I have a portable generator....but I have to be home to start it. Today Rob arrived on time and installed the back up for me. It took the whole morning as he predicted. Oh....one more thing...he noticed a leak in my fairly new furnace exhaust piping.
