It started when I called the company and the person I talked to understood immediately what my problem was, and said he would have "Brian" out to fix it within 2 hours. Brian showed up right on time after giving me a call to say exactly when he would be coming. He assessed my situation, had a better idea than I did for what was needed, and he promptly set about fixing it. He explained everything as he went along, taking pride in what he was doing. When he finished that, he did a complete inspection of my garage door operations, explaining to me what he was looking for. He sprayed things that needed it, and explained to me what to spray, and which places should get silicone spray and which WD 40. The work was guaranteed. The bill was very fair, and my $10 off coupon was cheerfully accepted."

"Terry Adams came out to our home and wrote the contract. Later Terry allowed me to make changes and stay within the contract fees. Terry was extremely easy to work with and I believe his best interest was to ensure that we were happy. His carpenters were also specialists. They were quick, always picking up after themselves and very talented. The carpentry foreman (Bill Hamilton) put his own personal talent to play and made my garage addition look fabulous. Marty met with me personally to get the quote going and seeing how to move forward with the project; and was very open to all my questions and making sure we mitigated surprises on the quote end. All the crew members that came on site were wonderful, and I appreciated that Dennis and Richard kept me in the loop and were very open to my questions/changes along the way. The workmanship is fantastic, and Dennis had some great suggestions on touches to the project that really helped enhance the final look. During the project, there was going to be a time when a large patio door needed to be moved, and I was concerned about my cats getting outside. Northstarr was very understanding and was able to structure the work such that the door was able to be moved without ever giving the cats access to getting outside. Everyone I worked with throughout the process was kind, helpful, respectful, and really walked what they talked. I also liked that the crews were very friendly and I was able to have some great conversations with many great people. Again, would recommend them to anyone and honestly one of the best experience I've had with a contractor in my many years of home ownership."
