"We purchased a property built in 1973 and the wood siding was rotting and in need of either cleaning/restaining or replacement. Originally the plan was to restain and get it looking good again, however knowing that I would be dealing with it again in less than ten years I solicited a request for insulated vinyl siding. After speaking with two or three contractors, we decided to move forward with Stronghold Improvements to update the exterior of the home. The quotes for the scope of work were about the same, however after meeting Craig and discussing the project, it was pretty clear who I would be going with. He and his team completely transformed the home. Along the way, they discovered imperfections such as rotting wood or areas in need of paint and corrected the deficiencies. If I could post a photo or two with this review I would. The house looks amazing. It's not inexpensive, but it is a worthwhile investment. You will not go wrong going with Stronghold Improvements."

"Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."

"Excellent experience! I cannot say enough great things about working with Zach and team on replacing our roof. Zach came out to our home and took his time going over and looking at the entire roof to ensure he had a clear picture of what needed to be done. He gave us a detailed quote including revising the quote and breaking it down several ways for us showing pricing differences for various shingles and even splitting up the roof into different sections. We were not ready to make the commitment right away and Zach did a great job checking in every so often, but not being an "over bearing sales guy" or completely "ghosting" us either. Once we decided to move forward with them we also had them quote and replace a portion of wood siding on our home with vinyl to match the rest of the house. Scheduling and communication throughout the project was excellent. The crew that came out was very hard working, respected our home and property, and were extremely professional.
