"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Initially, we found Matt's business listed on the Trex website as a certified TrexPro Gold installer. After then reading his positive reviews across AngliesList, Facebook, & Google, and seeing photos of many projects that appeared to be the type of work we were looking for, we reached out. Communication was excellent from the initial quote through completion of the project. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. The project was a notable investment in our home, but we are very pleased with the results would highly recommend Matt to others."

On a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Josh and found his quote to be much more reasonable. I suppose I was a bit skeptical that he could do what I wanted for the price. I wound up asking for some additional work on top of the original estimate and the additional charge was right on par with my expectations. Josh worked with me to go over all the materials that he needed to buy for the job and the finishes I wanted and sent me the exact receipts for the materials. Along the way there were a couple times when I wasn't completely satisfied with how something was done but Josh immediately re-did it and made sure I was happy. Overall he did a great job for a very reasonable price. I also appreciated that he was personable and eager to share his knowledge and experience. That made me comfortable asking him questions about the work so I could keep informed about what exactly he was doing every step of the way."
