"When we started our plan of remodeling, the first thing we did was the complete roof replacement including kitchen vent & duct pipe installation to the roof, and new installation of attic ventilation. MMP did not only completed it just as agreed but also very efficiently. The crews were friendly, professional, and careful. The jobs were carefully managed and implemented effectively. I was impressed by Matt, who is the manager, and he does an outstanding job in managing the crews and the progress of the situation, and the communication was clear and always to the point. We then moved to initiate a search for a contractor of two bathrooms remodeling after completing the roof and attic vent, MMP was one of the many candidates. Matt has had not only the best idea and proposals but also shown an impressive & professional sense of evaluating the project accurately, including the possible structural modification as well as a competitive estimate of the cost of the build. His proposal included a rebuild of a wall of the bathroom to expand another one adjacent to it. Matt accepted to use my schematic design image (made with a software tool) and a spreadsheet list of the fixtures that I created - as many as fifty items including TOTO, Grohe, American Standard, Panasonic, and IKEA - to start the job (later changed some of them due to local plumbing code compliance) After beginning the bathroom remodel project, Matt shared what jobs will be done with us timely and efficiently via text so that we feel comfortable enough in knowing what is going on while living in the house of dust & noise from remodeling. The crews, Zen and Mark, were very courteous, extensively experienced, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication, sometimes with songs of 80s rock music. They ask me when more precise specifications are needed and notified me when they feel advance notifications are required. When a change is necessary due to inspection, they informed me and clarified what and why. I have never felt uncomfortable in living together with the remodel job which has lasted over four months. The completed two bathrooms were stunning, just as I imagined. Matt, Zen, and Mark have proved their strong & thoughtful expertise and lived up with my request patiently until completion. Great job. "Khaled and his crew built a large 2-story garage for us and it came out wonderful. Khaled managed multiple sub-contractors, engineers, and the town's building department. The build did not always go according to plan and it did end up taking longer than anticipated, but that is to be expected with construction projects - especially in this worker & supply-limited climate. Despite delays and setbacks, Khaled always has his customer's interest at heart, and will make sure that the work is done well. I would recommend Abalia Construction and will use them again in the future."

"Wallpaper removal = A; plastering = A-; painting: C+. We were disappointed in the overall experience. They were kind enough and their wallpaper removal and plastering was great, really solid—but on the final day, they rushed with the painting to get it done on the original time frame, and while one room was top notch, another was above average, and the bathroom was very sloppy. There was wall paint on our bathroom tiles, vanity, and shower; unsanded/unsmoothed plaster chunks that were just painted right over and were unsightly and lumpy; peeling caulking; parts where the paint was crooked or misaligned with baseboards; paint dribbles on floor and utensils on counter; and they did a poor job cleaning up, with plaster dust everywhere, paint to be cleaned up in the bathroom, and paint and plaster dust in, on, and around our cabinets. One of the crew members’ painting skills was just rushed and poor and it detracted from the others’ skills. By the time the job was over they rushed to get out of the house and did not carefully complete a walkthrough."

"Carlos and his team were amazing! Carlos gave me a fair quote up front and explained what was and was not included in his price so we both knew what to expect. I had a lot of water damage on one portion of my house that was unseen during the original quote. Carlos stopped work showed me the issues and gave me a quote for that work that was fair. Carlos was on site every day to check the work his crew was doing, answer any questions I had and give me an update on progress. Not only would I recommend Carlos to friends and family, I already have him hired for another job I need done and will use him for any carpentry, painting or other house work I need done. He even gave me a great recommendation for gutter installation guys."

"Coen was responsive during storms and as thorough as any of the other vendors we've tried. The team was responsive to feedback and kept us safe through the worst winter. We needed to do some detail work ourselves to make sure vents were clear but Coen took care of the heavy lifting. It took awhile to lock in a final contract - Scott was very responsive in sending an initial draft but took some following up to get the clarifications we were looking for. Still, we decided to go with them because their rates were competitive, reasonable, and they made multiple trips to deal with build up in the event of larger storm.

"The Kinsellabuilt team is outstanding - they managed through a full gut remodel of our ~1,925 sqft home in a little over 5 months from when we got our initial quote. They have a great eye for design as well, which we found really helpful - they would ask us for input on decisions where we had personal preferences and took care of the small decisions where we didn't have preferences in ways that made a lot of sense. This was our first remodel and they were really great about giving us advice and steering us away from decisions that might be costly or not work well.
