Working with my property manager, we received several quotes. Chatel Construction was the most competitive, with the "smartest" approach to eliminate unnecessary costs. Since I live out of state, it was critical that the crew were reliable and trustworthy, since they would have access to the home without the owner present. Scott Chatel (owner) or a supervisor was onsite at all times. The results are outstanding. I will absolutely engage Chatel Construction for our future repair and renovation needs."

"Waxtel LLC did a major renovation on my co-op on Sutton Place South. The renovations included new bathrooms, new kitchen, painting, floor restoration and a host of other repairs and renovations. The Company is excellent and I would highly recommend them. Besides the excellent workmanship, the owner, Dave Waxtel, was extremely responsive to all issues. I have dealt with contractors many times, and I would say Waxtel is the best one I have ever used. Moreover, the price was reasonable and fair. You will not be disappointed if you hire them. "LI & A Construction completed two projects for us. The first was last summer. Mr. Hetnarien and his team eliminated a section of the houseâ s back deck. This year LI & A Construction updated a section of a small bathroom in our house. On both projects, Mr. Hetnarien and his crew did an outstanding job. My research for a general contractor led me to LI & A Contraction Corp. My first requirement was that the business have the necessary license and insurance in good standing and Mr. Hetnarien â s business did. On communication and responsiveness, they get high marks. Mr. Hetnarien always got back to me within 48 hours. He is both accessible and approachable. Both jobs were carried out promptly. If they anticipated a delay because of bad weather (and there was), this was made known to me ahead of time. He and his team are knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. "Emergency roof repair was needed as there was a leak. Roof was located under a deck and repairs were done quickly and very efficiently. Workers took great care to minimize disruption while work was going on- accessing the roof by a ladder rather than coming through the house, and they put down paper so they wouldn’t track dirt through our home on the rare occasions they had to come from inside. It has rained since the repair and no leak yet! Highly recommend Imperial Contracting."
