"Great job.  They arrived on-time, quickly took down and hauled off the old fence between our neighbor's house and mine, installed the new fence section.  They even hauled away the clay soil that was pulled out of the post holes.  To access my backyard they needed to remove some of the pickets on my existing fence that was not part of the scope of the job. When they left they replaced the removed pickets and cleaned up. The job was done in 4 to 5 hours.  It looks very nice.
In preparation for their arrival we had removed plants, rocks and garden ties that would have been an obstruction.
To avoid added charges we hand-delivered checks to their office in Stafford, TX.  The location of their office is convenient to our house.  It's nice to see that their company actually has a physical presence in the community.

"Excellent. Jose and his wife are really good with appointments, bids, and communications. On the day of the job, Jose arrived on time and set up tarps and plastic everywhere to ensure that the sheetrock dust and paint did not get on any of our other walls or furniture. Sheet rock patch jobs are not easy, and I can honestly tell you that I cannot even find the patches on the ceiling or the various walls. Jose is truly skilled in the art of matching texture. Also, he offered to do the paint job, but I needed to save money, so I had him do the ceiling and I tackled all the walls. He gave me a ton of helpful advice on how to primer over a sheetrock patch and not cause it to peel. He also gave me some helpful tips on painting in general (which showed me that I had been doing many things wrong in previous paint jobs). Finally, Jose's bid was between 2 others, and I really felt that the lowest bid provider would have been a patch disaster, and while the highest bid would have likely been as good quality, I don't see how you can achieve higher quality than the finished result by JY Handyman. So, I feel like I saved $300 going with JY. I am thrilled to know that I can go back to them not only for sheetrock patch and paint jobs, but pretty much any home repair work I need. For sure, we will contract with JY Handyman again in the future."

"I reached out to Steve to ask him to provide me with a bid to build craftsman-style brick columns on our front porch. Our house was built in 1942, so sourcing brick that could match or at least blend well with our vintage brick was going to be a challenge. Within one day, he had located vintage brick that was a dead ringer for our existing 1942 brick. Even though he isn't starting the actual job for 2 weeks (due to my schedule conflicts), he has already delivered our brick and we are well on our way to getting our new columns completed. I'll post another review and pictures when Steve has completed the job, but so far, we couldn't be happier with his work and responsiveness. He really went the extra mile to find vintage brick that would match our existing brick. Can't wait to see the final product!"
