"I planned to change out my old standard water heater with a tankless unit some time this year. Got an ad last month advertising JL Anderson does this so out of curiosity I called for an estimate and met with Richard a few days later. I didn't realize until speaking with them this new style requires slightly different venting and plumbing but Anderson could oversee the whole thing. Because they handled the entire installation of my HVAC system a few years back and did a great job I knew they'd be perfect to do this install. "Discovered my water heater had went out over night and was leaking all over my garage. Called Water Heater Express out of the blue at 8 a.m. and they were at my door by 9:30. After assessing the situation and taking a few measurements I was given an estimate which was right in align with what I was thinking I would be spending. So, I told them to go ahead and do it. The tech said he was going to go get my new heater and asked if I could move a few things. Seems like I just got done moving stuff and he was back already, very quick. Now, my water softener was in his way too so he had to disconnect it and move it out of his way. All in all he was on his way by 11:45! This includes going to get the water heater, disconnecting and moving the water softener, installing the heater, reinstalling the softener, getting the unit going, clean up, and informing me as to how everything works. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Water Heater Express and I would definitely use them again. A++ job guys!"

"The consultation visit was great. Mr. Lott was knowledgeable and went over the options. The installation team was great. Friendly, clean and did a great job. My only issue is that we reviewed where the tankless water heater was being installed including the electrical outlet, yet I had to use an extension cord to plug the unit in after installation. Now I am going to have move the electrical for the unit. For the price I paid I would have expected this to be done for me."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
