"Rob and Jonathan initially came to the house for the inspection and to give me an estimate. They were extremely professional and helpful. They took time to answer all my questions and provided a fair estimate on architectural shingles. Because of the hurricane they were very busy but still made me feel like my home was important to them. I chose them for the work because they are a local company with full time employees that do not contract out the work. The job was done in December after I got my insurance issues resolved and they had an opening in their schedule. A crew of four men came out to the house. They arrived on time and were very respectful of my property and landscaping. The job took a little longer than they thought so they had to come back the next morning to finish. They cleaned up my entire yard as if they were never here, except for the new roof. Have only found three nails so far. That’s pretty amazing. I had a few follow up questions and they responded very quickly to address my concerns. I recommend them VERY highly. You won’t be disappointed."

Even better, I had some concern about walls insulation for the pool bath behind the chimney. John listened to my concerns and helped me identify the type of fire safe insulation I could have installed to insulate the bathroom considering it is closed to the chimney."

"Ken is great! We have 2 fireplaces, both needed some repairs and cleaning. He came out and spent several hours fixing the issues, putting in new caps, and cleaning both chimneys. He was prompt, professional, friendly, prices were reasonable, explained what he was doing, and took pics before and after to show us exactly what he did. He also does dryer vent cleaning, so we had him do that as well while he was there. There wasn't one speck of dust around either chimney after he left, he just did a great job! We knew that this was going to be expensive because of the size of the home and it is two story with a 3 car garage. But his reviews said the exact opposite so I decided to take the chance with Gulf Coast. The roof came out beautiful, the workmanship was exceptional, they cleaned up after themselves so that there were no stray nails, or shingles left behind on the lawn. I cannot say enough good things about this Company other than we won't use anyone else as long as we live in Florida. They saved me more than $5000!"

"The Merillat Roofing Team did a great job. They were professional and courteous. They came by, ripped out the old roof, replaced it, and did it all in a timely manner. This was for a secondary flat roof, not the primary one. When it comes time to replace my primary (hopefully many years from now), I will call them in again."
