Customers say: Quick response

"The renovation went exceptionally well. Steve's team was professional, punctual, and respectful of my home, keeping the space clean throughout the project. They communicated every step of the process, including timelines and any challenges, and resolved unexpected plumbing issues without delay. The quality of work exceeded my expectations—every detail, from the precise backsplash tiling to the custom-built cabinetry, was top-notch. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the final kitchen looks stunning and functions perfectly for my family’s needs. I couldn’t be happier with the result."

"Mr. Mata from M & M is a professional from start to finish. He would arrived at 8 am and end at 5:30 p.m. If he saw a problem, he would show you the problem and suggest a solution to it. I am also pleased because he gave us the opportunity to choose what we wanted to put in the bathroom. He would advised us if the item would work or not. My house was built in the 1950, so unforeseen problems added up to the estimate he gave at the beginning. However, we are very pleased and happy with the results. He finished the bathroom in eight days. He is now starting to remodel our second bathroom. We are extremely fortunate to have found Mr. Mata in Angie’s list. I would highly recommend M & M for any remodeling project."

"It went really well and our floors look great.  The guys arrived as planned and advised me of their planned schedule for the whole job. They were very friendly and courteous while they were here.  They answered all my questions and showed me what they were doing through out the job.  When they had a small problem, they were honest and explained my options. I would recommend this company and use them again for other projects <br />"

"It went so well and they did exactly what the contract said that they would do. Our contract was specific that left nothing to misunderstand about what I wanted done or they to do. They were working with 24 year old oak cabinets and were exact in matching corners & fronts of those old cabinets. It all looks so good. I worked with the owners daughter. The owner was very nice also. The carpenters were a pleasure to work with. They did their work and then the owner would call or text me to ask it there was anything that needed their attention. The payment process was excellent in that it was all done on Intuit and could come directly out of my checking account."

"Everything went great. Danny Gomez came out and gave me a quote. He was quite a bit friendlier than other contractors who had come out and bid the same job. He showed up when he said he would and gave me a good estimate. I felt more comfortable with his design and price than the other guys I had out. He gave me some pictures of his previous work to show my wife. <br /> <br /> The job was completed on time and on budget, with no overages. There were a few weather delays, but they worked even when it was freezing outside. His crew was very friendly, and they handled the dumpster and permits. They spent nearly an entire day just on cleanup and leveling after they were done building the wall and putting the fence up. <br /> <br /> My wife was very impressed with the look of the natural stone. <br /> <br /> Overall, it went way smoother than I thought."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Brownfield, TX

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
