"When I called for service, the young lady said she would call me back to arrange a date and a time. To my delight, she called right back. They were able to come that very day and they arrived earlier than expected. The techs were friendly and answered my questions. Since this is my first home, I have no idea if the price is high or low. They charge a $79 fee for a diagnostic. <br />"

"Two of the faucets were repaired. The third one (kitchen) was not repaired properly. To be clear, when Randall (plumber) came, I was not at the house so someone else conveyed my complaints about the faucets. The work he did on the kitchen faucet did not address the issue that I was seeing. I called Zeh's and they promptly sent Randall back out. This time I was there. Randall provided options to me for replacing the faucet or fixing it. He offered information and answered my questions but was not trying to sell me on any particular course of action. Based on his information, I chose to replace the faucet (and gabage disposal since they were both old). He recommended products for me to buy. He came back within a day or so (on a Saturday) to install new faucet and garbage disposal and did not charge for the Saturday service. After a year, it's all still good."

"I made calls to different companies only to find that Ronnie Ritchie was the only one to ask about problems over the phone , when I described issues with him that I was having with the AC outside unit and he stated it didn't sound like a major problem so made a service call and they were here within 20 minutes... Serviceman then looked over unit and after 20 minutes of the system running the noise I heard had went away and he sed all it needed to do was run from sitting over the winter . They didn't try to rip me off and that is a great things they are very honest people and I will for sure use them for any ac/heat or plumbing issues I made need <br />"

"burned I called Gary he was on his way back to my area from FL. I told him that we had no water that I thought our pump had gone out. He drove all night and was at my house by midday. He went under the house and found out that our pressure gage had burned up. But since we knew our pump was close to being gone and he had one in the truck we just had him fix it. Whole thing took about 3 hours. <br /> I will use him again. He said he moved to FL but to call him anytime and he would come up . <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Brownsburg, VA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
