"We are very pleased with our curbing that was installed by Infinity Curbing. This company has done work for us twice. We liked the first installation so much that we had them come back to do more for us. The curbing has added appeal to the landscaping around our house. Jeremy was very helpful in choosing style and color of curbing used. After completion they made sure that everything was clean and we were satisfied with the end results. We highly recommend Infinity Curbing."

"We requested a design layout for our new construction and just went in to see the plan. Aimee was so knowledgeable about plants I was quite impressed. She was very professional and educated us on several points. I had some things in mind and she expertly explained why or why not it would work. We will have them begin work in about a month or so. At this point I can recommend Aimee for her expertise and utmost professionalism. <br />"

"I originally wanted just a few rooms done, and was quoted $75.  They were in an all in no time and, for the price and the agreed upon services, I am pleased.  The tech explained to me that without deep cleaning, some of the spots would come back, which they did.  but he warned me that going the "inexpensive" route that I went that this would happen.  I did think they were a little bit quick, but i woldl use them again.  They were prompt (actually a bit early) and were able to fit in my quick schedule. <br />"

"It's breathtaking. The neighbors are stilling commenting. We first met with Dan in the fall to discuss the landscaping. Since I was replacing the driveway with pavers, we decided I should pursue my plan to reroof the house first. Dan was very patient as getting the roofing contract underway and then getting the approvals from the HOA took quite a bit of time. I found him very easy to work with and not pushy or arrogant. Once we were ready to proceed, they had to delay my start date due to another job, but Dan kept me informed, so it wasn't an issue. When the crew started the work, they were punctual and efficient. It was amazing how quickly they laid the pavers and how precise the cuts are to ensure they all fit together. Plants were installed per plan. They fit well together and the lighting provides the perfect accents. I opted to accept their follow-on maintenance package to ensure the plants get well established. <br />"

"We hired Hickory Creek to help us design and install new landscaping for our front and backyard. Jessica came and assessed our yard, and listened to our requests and designed a rendering that presented a vision for our space. She selected plants and materials based on our preferences. She was very easy to communicate with and stuck to our budget. When it was time for installation, Troy, Adam & Danny showed up on time and were very professional. We got new sod installed, and realized how important it was to have irrigation professionals on hand to make sure all of our sprinklers were functional. We couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result. It’s like we have a whole new yard to enjoy. We would 100% recommend Hickory Creek to anyone needing plants or landscaping assistance."

FAQs for gravel or loose fill paving install, spread or scrape projects in Bryceville, FL

To calculate how much pea gravel you need for your project, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area you want to cover to find the volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert it to cubic yards to determine the amount of pea gravel you need.

A yard of pea gravel weighs about 1.3 tons or 2,600 pounds. Keep in mind that wet gravel weighs more than dry, and different types of gravel can vary in weight. For example, due to its density, river rock weighs significantly more than crushed stone and pea gravel.

The ideal depth for pea gravel depends on the type and size of your project. You'll need at least two to three inches for walkways and patios and a minimum of six inches for driveways to support heavy vehicles and prevent shifting over time. Aim for a depth of three to four inches in decorative garden beds or drainage areas.

Pea gravel is attractive, versatile, and low-maintenance. It provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for pathways, driveways, and garden beds. On the downside, its sharp texture isn't ideal for bare feet, and it can be challenging to weed or remove once installed. It can also shift underfoot without proper edging, creating an uneven surface.

Alternative landscaping materials you can use instead of pea gravel include wood chips, decomposed granite, crushed stone, pebbles, quartz, mulch, sand, and river rock. These materials offer different aesthetics, performance, and costs, so it’s important to do your research to determine which one best fits your landscape design and budget.

Many homeowners choose pea gravel because it requires minimal upkeep compared to other landscaping materials. You'll need to rake it occasionally to redistribute the stones and maintain an even surface. Pros also recommend installing weed barrier fabric beneath the gravel to prevent unwanted growth, although some weeds may still appear over time.
