"Everything went fine, until I asked that he replace the shutoff gate valves with 1/4 turn valves. He eemurred saying that would be another hour's work and I would have to pay extra. I had a different plumber install similar fixtuires and the valves in two hours for two basins. When I asked about this I was told that this was their standard practice, and the technician was not happy with the coupon arrangement that he claimed was set up by Angie's List without input from the company. While the work was done professionally, I was surprised that he wanted another hour to install the two valves and that I got this story about disagreement between the AL sales department and his company.

"Eddie came to our home to inspect a dishwasher and a wine cooler as both had stopped functioning. He was very courteous and knowledgable. He was able to fix the dishwasher with a minor adjustment when I was ready to replace the entire unit. He then assessed the problem with the wine cooler and gave me an estimate, ordered the part and said he, or one of his service techs would return the following day to make the repair. Although I offered, he took no payment until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The next day as promised I received a call from the service tech, who was also courteous and knowledgable, telling me he was on his way and wanted to confirm our address. The entire experience was very professional, a rare find, and I highly recommend this company and the service they provide.

"In July, your non emergency A/C replacement has to come after emergencies. We were flexible with that. How can anyone say another home has to do without while we upgrade? But we had a drop dead date when we were going out of town, and someone would be house and pet sitting for us. We couldn't leave them potentially with no air. So they got it done well in advance and in time to make some adjustments. The Trane A/C they installed is the most efficient model available from Trane and it is spectacular The total install, including the inside unit and the garage roof unit took about 7 hours. They brought portable A/C for downstairs and upstairs and the house cooled down very quickly with out new A/C. The owner and one of his staff did the install. All employees including office staff have been just great and amazing to work with. What a pleasure."

Michael has returned my call promptly, and he was able to squeeze into his schedule quickly to help me. The next day he was at the house to do the work. I asked Michael an estimate to install a Bathroom Vanity Top of 104 inches with 2 bowls, and I received the estimate the next day. He will install when the order will be ship at store. Michael is personable, knowledgeable in many trades, very professional, efficient and concerned about details, work clean and it cleans up once the work is completed. "Steve (the owner of Elite Appliance Repair) and Kevin arrived within the scheduled time window, though they had called ahead of time and said they could be a little late. They very quickly diagnosed the problems with our 14-year old washer (two circuit boards and a support strut) and recommended that given its age, we consider buying a new unit.
