"UPDATE: Amazing how this wonderful review has turned to wishing I never left it or could give them 0 stars. The initial sale was amazing (should’ve known it wouldn’t last). We spent 30k on a brand new unit. 1.5 year later and we find ourselves on day 8 without an AC, now being told it may be another week “and if we don’t hear back from them by Friday, for US to call them again”. Do not be tricked by their initial caring demeanor. It obviously doesn’t seem to last. I have health issues, we have 2 senior dogs and are in Texas. It’s been pushing 90 degrees in our home and they can’t provide a solution to a ‘Cadillac of units’ that THEY recommended and we fell for. I am at a loss. Jon Wayne is the company that installed the unit, now they’re saying the unit ‘is grounded’ and ‘is like a heart that stopped beating’. Crazy that it’s supposed to be a top of the line unit that they compare to a Cadillac for the AC world, yet it stopped functioning after a year. Do yourself a favor and get other options and opinions before trusting them on something as important as cool air in your home. I can’t believe we are dealing with this. Now we’re 30k in, an additional 1k for their ‘warranty’ and still without a working AC. WOW."

"Start to finish the experience was great with Malco electric. They were the only electrician out of 5 that I called that answered the phone to schedule an appointment. On the day of service Todd was on time and professional. We unexpectedly had a family emergency minutes before he arrived. He patiently waited until it was resolved to begin working on our electrical issues. He thoroughly checked out each issue and resolved them. He was even considerate to give me a ride to the hospital to meet my family after completing the electrical repairs as our second car was in the shop at the time. If you have electrical needs Malco electrical will take good care of you."

"I hired Danny to replace an old recessed light in my living room with a small chandelier and everything went very smoothly. Danny provided the receipt for the electrical box he needed to purchase for the conversion and even with that, the total cost of the project was $67 less than another electrician had quoted me and the quality of his work was just as good. I would like to add that in addition to being courteous, efficient, and accommodating, Danny works very cleanly, which is a big deal for me. He either removed his shoes or used booties (I can't recall which, but it was appreciated), put a cloth beneath the area where he would be working AND he meticulously cleaned up all the fingerprints on the light fixture after he was done with the installation. I plan to use Danny's services again when I replace the light fixtures on the second floor of my condo."

He ran into some extra work burying the cabling under heavy clay. But he did not leave until everything was done correctly. He is very personable and easy to work with. He did make a few suggestions on work that I may need in the future but he was not pushy about it. I will definitely hire him again."

However, when I called the person fielding the call told me they do not do repairs of exterior lights and would only replace the entire fixtures, even for the one that simply has a stuck base of a lightbulb in it because a bulb broke when we were changing it. Why would they not repair external light fixtures and only do entire replacements of them? It seems very odd. They could not refer me to another electrician who does repair external fixtures, so here I am taking a look at Angi reviews."
