"Everything went very well. From the sales end the people were helpful and did not push a high end carpet. They seemed very interested in what we wanted and were able to show us various possibilities. Spent time with us and answered all our questions, even those involving ongoing carpet maintenance. The installation crew arrived on time and changed their original implementation plan to adapt to our needs. They moved all the heavy furniture without complaint including a piano. They worked consistently and finished in what I considered good timing. They made sure that I had no questions for them prior to leaving and they cleaned up after themselves. Price wise I think they were a little more expensive than some other places, but it was well worth the small amount extra with their attention, advice, knowledge and professionalism."

"I needed to have new carpeting put into my finished basement. I found Carpet Master Plus through Angie's list and am really pleased I want with them. Roman was super responsive and professional. He did an immaculate job with the installation and even went above and beyond adding "Hollywood" style carpeting on the stair for no additional cost. If you're looking for top notch workmanship at a very reasonable price I HIGHLY recommend Carpet Master Plus."

"Our purple carpet had about 100 urine stains from previous dogs and our own. The specialist, Robert, matched to color and treated every spot. If we didn't know where they were, we'd never know they spots had been there. Perfect job!"

".Carpet rippled and had large pockets where it was not stretched. It has large ripple lines of gathered carpet across the room. Installer complained that his knees had arthritis and he could not effectively kick the stretcher in place with his knees. Yes he was using his knees wearing a metal device of some kind. They would knock the carpet against the wall as they crawled along the baseboard.. As a result the un-stretched carpet rippled all over the room. We actually trip on it! Stains in the carpet stay in and cannot be resolved. The fabric is cheap and got nubby within a year. The stains popped up and stayed showing all dirt tracked in on a royal and also a blue carpet. Had to replace the beige carpet in 3 years. In contrast the stainmaster cabin craft put into bedrooms by a local store lasted ten years and did not even need replacing when we took it out. it looked new and the dirt came  out. It was sstain free when we took it out to install wood. <br />"

"The windows are just beautiful. We really liked the salesmen, Vick, and his recommendations on the windows. The workers were very professional and knowledgeable. There were about 6 workers and it took two days to complete the work. I did not have any complaints. If i did have a question, they certainly had a lot of patient and answered them all very well. They arrived on time every day as well."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Burbank, OH

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
