"Happy with pool surface...mini-pebbles with glass beads. Weekly maintenance during pool season since 2016. Paul and his team are professional, courteous, caring, hardworking and kind. Paul even came over on Labor Day weekend when our pump was not working...now that is above and beyond! Paul really cares about his clients and their satisfaction. Prices are fair and comparable. "Backyard Ponds is magic. I have a small backyard pond,stream and waterfall that have been
leaking for years. Various workmen had poured concrete into it, slathered mortar
between stones and sprayed special waterfall foam all over the sides of it. My
pond, stream and waterfall continued to leak. Hilary of Backyard Ponds looked at it for a while, moved one
stone and fixed the leak. How did you do that! I yelled. Well after you work on
enough of these things you get an eye for what the problem could be. Then she
vacuumed all the mud that had been clogging the pum , reattached the waterline
and pump that I could never get to stay together, restacked the rocks along the
edge of the stream so they actually sat on top of each other instead of sliding
down at all angles, and added a few strategically placed rocks to hide the pump
and waterline and cover the rubber sides of the stream. She added a regulator to
the water line so I could make the water run fast and slow. And more. I have had
a pond and stream for fifteen years, and many people have worked on it, from
expensive professioanl landscapers to guys I would swear the contractor picked
up off the street corner. The difference in using someone who specializes in
ponds is stunning. Backyard ponds is
magic.

"I have been impressed with Subcomm Pools since our first contact. After days of research trying to find a company that could help us with a potential leak, I decided to contact Subcomm Pools. What really distinguished them from all the other companies was their willingness to put their weekly service package prices on their website. As a fairly new pool owner, I had quickly noticed that most companies instead advertise that customers need to call for a quote or estimates. Even though I wasn?t currently looking to purchase routine services, I appreciated this direct and transparent approach.
After I called and explained our problem to the Service Manager, Hristo, he gave me step-by-step instructions to follow so that I could narrow down the source of the leak myself without having to pay to send out a technician to do it. This really ended up saving us money because as it turned out, we did not have a leak.
As a result of the positive, professional and courteous experience I had with Subcomm Pools up to this point, I decided to purchase their bi-weekly pool services. "Our pool was leaking badly and after a search on Angie's list Jaeson and his crew were able to fit is in for a leak test during the busy pre-memorial day season. They found that the leak was in the return pipes and Jaeson advised the job might be complicated, but he could come the following weekend to get it done, we were able to negotiate the price and agreed on $6250. We also needed the job to be done quickly as we are preparing the house to sell. He and his crew came that Saturday and got it done that day. They pulled the concrete up by the returns and found two were leaking. After finding the two broken pipes, they then re m-pressure tested the rest of the pipes to be sure there were no other issues. They then fixed the broken pipes, filled In the hole and repoured the necessary concrete. Jaeson and his crew were great, they kepped me informed and got the majority of the job done that day. Jason also came back the following Tuesday to reseal the backer rod and coping stone after the new concrete was dry completing the project. If we were staying we would switch to JA contracting for our other pool care needs."
