"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "Mr. Marchel was a pleasure to work with.  He is a local provided that has been roofing for over 40 years.  He was personable and down to earth, a real pleasure to deal with.  My house is very old and in a part of town that is often neglected but he was very professional and a regular guy too.  It is not a large roof but there were a couple of leaks and he was prompt and made sure they were fixed.  He also rebuilt a skylight that was leaking and did a nice job with it.  The price included tearing off the old layer (only one) and then papering and putting on new shingles.  He gave me a choice of different shingles to use and I chose an asphalt architectural shingle for just a little more money than the standard asphalt shingle.  His workers were prompt and neat and completed the job in less than three days.  They did a very nice job.  I highly recommend Marchel Roofing."
