I returned the water heater, and they again connected me to Holthaus. Holthaus called later that same afternoon and scheduled for the next morning. Dan came out and installed the water heater and new stand in just an hour. He only charged $30 for additional materials related to new gas fittings. He was very polite, transparent, and thorough. I would highly recommend them."

The ARS secretaries could take a lesson. They somehow got my phone # and house # wrong! It made for some confusions. Luckily I called them when the serviceman didn't come or call on time. We straightened out the phone # and Manuel had to call me to find the house. Tiny errors make a big difference. Overall, the experience was fine because the service man was so kind and helpful. I will try them again, but check and recheck the details."

Got an ad last month advertising JL Anderson does this so out of curiosity I called for an estimate and met with Richard a few days later. I didn't realize until speaking with them this new style requires slightly different venting and plumbing but Anderson could oversee the whole thing. Because they handled the entire installation of my HVAC system a few years back and did a great job I knew they'd be perfect to do this install. We're loving this new system already and can't wait to see the benefits it shows over time. Jeremy Williams took my call and after I explained that I needed to replace my 18 year old water heater, he asked what time of the day would be best to come out and take care of my replacement. He explained that he liked to provide same day service and any hours I would be available would work for him. We agreed to meet at my house at 3:30pm and he estimated that the time to replace my water heater with a new one would take about an hour. He also provided an all-inclusive price to remove and haul away the old water heater, install a new unit. "The consultation visit was great. Mr. Lott was knowledgeable and went over the options. The installation team was great. Friendly, clean and did a great job. My only issue is that we reviewed where the tankless water heater was being installed including the electrical outlet, yet I had to use an extension cord to plug the unit in after installation. Now I am going to have move the electrical for the unit. For the price I paid I would have expected this to be done for me."

I like that I can request the service online. The only thing is, I wish that there was a better avenue for emergency services. If something doesn't work right away usually it takes a couple of days to get someone out and sometimes you can't wait two days without water."
