Gary, the owner, came to our home and explained the process he would use to guarantee (life time and transferrable) a dry basement. His explanation was very detailed and he answered all of our questions. The job was started promptly when scheduled and completed in the projected time frame. Plastic was draped over the basement contents to protect from dust, so the mess was minimal. All of the work was handled by the crew, Gary, Cody, Casey, Phil, and the very talented cement finisher, Richard. They cleaned the work site every day so that they were starting fresh the next day. The entire crew of Atlantic Coast Waterproofing possess a very strong work ethic. They are courteous, dependable, and considerate of their client's property. The saying "you get what you pay for", is very true in this case. The job exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Gary and his company for your waterproofing needs."

"The work crew showed up on time and a little bit early and went right to work. They laid down plastic sheeting and got to work right away removing the concrete and laying drain tile. they also started brushing some stuff on the wall, they called it Zypex (Xypex?) that looked like cement and would somehow seep into the concrete and form a barrier that would stop the water from the inside.
Mike stopped by during the job to take a look. He took me downstairs and showed me what they were doing and explained again how the stuff worked on the wall. Everyone was super professional and really knowledgeable. They were so nice to me and my wife and even called me back a few months later to check on the walls. Sure enough, they were dry!! Before they were there the walls would be damp and cold to the touch. Now, its super dry and has been for almost 8 years now.
I was very impressed with the work, the crew, the owner, and the whole process. Nobody acted like salespeople, like every other company I had come out (let me tell you, I called ALL the big companies too). They were down to earth and totally had my trust after talking to them. All I can is thank you!!! We finished our basement right before some big rains in the spring of 2011 and guess what??? Not one leak through any of walls like before! Awesome job!!

"NorthStarr was a real pleasure to have on our basement project. Everyone of the workers were respectful, quality conscious and friendly. They were here everyday and worked hard when they were here. I know the neighbor across the street have made favorable comments of the workers consistent attendance. She said she would hire your company if they needed to have a project completed. We felt totally secure with them here. We gave them a code to open the front door if we were not home. Some more on quality the team consistently worked hard to ensure quality was built in. I did part of the basement, so I know how hard that is. A couple of examples: The one putting in the fireplace was constantly planning/checking to ensure the fireplace was even across, no place with small tiles and the angels on the edges lined up. There is no way I would have been able to do that. The wall between the cabinets had a bow. They asked what we plan to do with that area. We said install a back splash. They went the extra mile to ensure the surface would suitable for that. The layout of the cabinets they plan and executed on having square level cabinets and to ensure the same distance between the top and bottom. Again, that is no easy task. The bar sink we bought had plastic threads in the drain. The team has not had good luck with that so they went and bought a metal basket to replace the plastic part. The team was always looking for the best way to do the job, not the easy or fast way."
