"Mr. Corbin and his crew did a very good job building our composite deck and provided excellent customer service throughout. First off, we have a beautiful new deck that was priced very competitively compared to other contractors we spoke with - and for most that will probably be all you need to know! But I particularly wanted to highlight the work that was done to support the hot tub we will be placing on the deck within the coming month. We asked Corbin Home Improvements to build the deck so that it would be capable of supporting a hot tub, and they delivered above and beyond. Knowing the risk of placing such a heavy object on a deck we hired a structural engineer to evaluate the deck. The engineer commented on the quality of the work done and materials used during his visit, noting how well built the deck was in addition to looking great. But his written report really put me at ease - the deck needed to be able to support 125psf in order for us to place the hot tub we purchased - but the section with additional support was rated at 250psf! Again, very pleased with this experience and we will definitely hire Corbin Home Improvements again for any future home improvement projects."

"Overall, I thought the person that came to my home to give an estimate of the patio we wanted to build was not very professional. She came up with a sketch for the patio which did not incorporate the design ideas that I wanted. She was willing to re-sketch the design 2 times to get it right, but then seemed to get annoyed that I asked questions about the materials that were being used, the options that were available...etc. Granted she may have been having a bad week, but I expected more. Ended up going with a different contractor and glad I did because the quote I got from them was $1000 less and I loved the job they did.

"We initially solicited bids from a few companies, but Valery and Thomas with Vostok were the only ones able to start right away, give us a complete quote (including labor, materials, a timeline and a payment schedule) and able to work flexible hours, including some weekends to ensure our project was completed on time. Valery and crew were easy to work with, clearly communicated the steps for the project and were easy to get in touch with when we needed to. I found them to be really nice guys and I completely trusted them in the house. Each night they bagged up the trash and tidied up the work area. The work that they did turned out beautiful- I have a gorgeous new bathroom in our basement and they did nice work finishing the kitchen where the wall was removed.
The only area for improvement would be making sure to minimize the impact of the construction debris- we had to ask for areas to be taped off to try and contain the dust, but once this was pointed out, they happily obliged.
We have quite a few other projects on our list for the house and Vostok is going to be our first choice to getting the work done!"
