"It is a pleasure for me to provide feedback on this team! Wow!! I don't think I've ever seen such commitment to excellent work and excellent service! I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. They understand your investment and they deliver quality materials, quality work, and a strong commitment to make customers happy. I could not be happier as a customer and would highly recommend them if you are considering work for your yard! "The owner did a good job and the price was very reasonable.  The people assisting him lacked the skill to perform tasks without a lot of direction but they are hard workers.  The owner made some mistakes.  He poured concrete for a long sidewalk and a 10'x10' completed shape utility slab.  It was more work than he could handle because he needed to be at both locations at the same time.  He should have done them on different days.  The second mistake was not knowing and checking the color of the concrete dye.  Instead of being the requested light brown color it was a bright orange.  This was fixed by pressure washing the powder off the concrete and painting it with paint.  Overall it looks good but not the color I expected.  They also did a good job reworking part of the yard by removing bushes, preparing the soil and replanting.  Overall they did a good job for a good price.  I expect them to get better at concrete work with experience. | |Note to Angies List: the price ratings are labeled A-F,  It doesn't make sense to me, should be "high" - "low"."

"Called and spoke to Jim the owner. I wanted my existing metal unsecured mailbox replaced with a secure one I purchased online. Since the wood post was in good condition I wanted to keep it and just have the new one mounted on it. Jim was very professional and accommodating to my schedule. He came out promptly and did the installation of the new one quickly. He had to do some sawing and maneuvering to get it to work out but it came out perfect. And even removed the critters and birds nest that had decided to make the magazine slot beneath home. Yikes! Thanks Jim! I definitely recommend this company. 5 stars."

"Nick and his crew were awesome. They showed up earlier and got started right away. Both driveways had to be graded down, backfilled with gravel and asphalted. They did everything they said they were going to do. They even went above and beyond with the dirt that was removed from both driveways and placed it in the back yard were we are having problems with low spots and pounding of water. Not only did they place the dirt in the back yard, but they even graded it out for free! They did an excellent job on both driveways. We couldn't be happier. They answered all our questions and concerns. Their cleanup after the job was perfect. I would highly recommend Capital Paving and Contractors. They do EXCELLENT work.

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"We were quite happy with their timing. They did everything they said they were going to do. Everything worked well. We noticed that the concrete driveway that they did was starting to have a few problems later on with something called spalling where little bits of the surface was chipping away. They called their cement supplier. They basically told us that we have to deal with the cement supplier if we wanted to do anything about it. That was my only negative thing. Otherwise, they have been totally positive. They were very responsive. When they did our chimney, they even went out of their way to mount a new television antenna up there for me. I thought that was nice of them. They mounted the mast and all that stuff, and didn’t charge us extra for it. They did it as a favor. We were just fine with all the pricing for everything they have done compared to anybody else we looked at. I have a little bit of a question about the driveway because of the bit of a problem with the spalling on it. I found out about spalling later from an expert who is a friend of ours, who did it for the city of Baltimore. He said that there were treatments they might have been able to use that they as a city use. I am not sure if the contractor was even aware of the technical issue of that problem."

"I had already heard about Earth Friendly Services through a friend of mine. Who loved them and was getting ready to use them again to finish her basement to give her and her family more living space. So every time we have a hard rain our basement becomes a nightmare. And we always say its ok how often do we really get hard rains like that. So it has cost us a lot of money over the years not fixing it in the first place. So I contacted Earth Friendly Services to come out and give me an estimate. Set up an appointment. They showed up on time walked me and my husband through everything answered all our questions. Steven was very knowledgeable of all the systems. And promise to get back with us with an estimate. 3 days later we got our estimate. It was a little over our budget but they worked with us and put it with in a range we both could work with. I really liked that. So we schedule to have the work done. They came on time and were every professional. Finished on time as well. Now we have a dry basement. Thank you Earth Friendly Services."

"Both my husband and I were very pleased with CJ and his team!  We had our old asphalt driveway replaced with a concrete driveway as well replacing our old slate walkway with a stamped concrete walkway.We couldn't believe how organized they were.  They were so quick, efficient, knowledgeable and just overall a great team.  They cleaned up after themselves each day.
he gentlemen who stained my walkway was a true artist!  I with the four color option which was a bit more expensive but definitely worth it!  The stamped walkway looks like real stone!  Its amazing.  A what a savings compared to real stone.Highly recommend CJ and team!"
