"Great company that did a great job in less than the estimated time. Their bid on this job (changing out a wood-framed porch to aluminum framing) was very reasonable compare to another we received. Our "new" porch looks great! This company is busy, and we were informed that it would take a couple of months before they could get to us after we paid a deposit. There were a couple of minor or delays due to circumstances outside of their control, but they kept in touch with us and arrived when predicted. "We had a few contractors over to give us estimates. It was summer and kind of busy season so they all took a week or more to get back to us. I think EHS were among the fastest, which we appreciated and the least expensive, which we really appreciated. I mean we got one estimate to reface our existing cabinets - 1500. For 2600 or so EHS said they could replace our cabinets with new ones, build a little wall to block the view of our washer / dryer (in our kitchen), and remove some soffits that were wasting space and cramping our kitchen. <br /> So we hired them to do that and more. For expanding the entrance way, one contractor wanted 3k. For the same price, EHS expanded the entrance way, and tiled our shower, and put in new counters and sink, and did some touch-up painting, and installed a couple of ceiling fans, and installed new locks. <br /> Good quality, good price. Jeff and Wes and the subcontractors I met were always polite and responded to calls or messages in a reasonable amount of time. I would use EHS again. <br />"

"When I needed help moving some heavy "garage clutter" so a new refrigerator could be put in our kitchen, I called Mike Bruno at Handyman Services to see if that (small job) was something he would do.  To my delight, it was, and he did that -- and more. <br /> Mike came at the agreed-upon day/time and brought a helper, so the three of us got the job done in short order. <br /> I asked Mike about his particular skills/services and found out he could, among other things, do wood-rot repairs -- a much-needed service in our damp/humid climate.  He sent another skilled helper two days later to install and paint a new wood panel cover on the exterior side of a chimney, and that job was done quite well also.  (I've waited to post this review to see how that work would hold up over time -- and it has with no problems.) <br /> Reading the reviews of Handyman Services LLC here, it seems mostly to be a matter of "feast or famine"; customers are either quite pleased (as I was) with Mike Bruno's work or they're not satisfied at all.  I intend to call him again when I need the kind of help he can provide, whether the job is large or small, and I'd hope other A-List members will consider Handyman Services for their needs too. <br />"

"They did a great job with the installation of the ceiling fan and light fixture.  They cleaned up well after their work.  The caulking in the bathroom was done nicely except that the color of the caulk did not match exactly with what we had.  Unfortunately, they were not able to complete everthing:  They were not able to fix the sealant around the bathroom door, install a doorknocker, and could not retouch scratchs on the baseboards.  We were supposed to have the supplies for them to complete the work.  I did not have any baseboard puddy. The screw for the doorknocker was too small for our door and they did not have any screws with them that would have worked.  They also asked to take a sample of the silicon sealant wtih them to a complany that deals with shower doors and get back to us.  We never did get the sample they took.  They had called us a couple of weeks later saying that they could not come back and fix the bathroom door seal. <br />"
