"Service was great, I couldn't have asked more. Neal arrived and promptly went to work. I had a leaking copper water line the crawlspace that he repaired. He also installed a shut off valve for the ice maker."

"AWESOME! Doug and his family were a pleasure to work with from the start! They were professional and took time to find out what our design priorities were, and offered ideas and material selections to meet our preferences and budget. He worked with us on all aspects of design, materials, and color options. He even added a locking gate at the top of the stairs for the safety of our fur babies. We now have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, safe, and inviting outdoor space. We cannot wait for warmer weather so we can get out and enjoy it more!"

"Jim and his crew did an outstanding job with our addition project. He provided consistent communication throughout every step of the process. We enjoyed having them around and the professional manner that they completed the job. It looks great and we are certainly enjoying our beautiful new space. Most of all, we never questioned Jim's character and integrity from day 1 until the final inspection of the project!"

"I contracted with Certa Pro to paint an 11-17' breakfast room with 3 windows and sliding door, 13-14' foot kitchen, butler's pantry with upper and lower cabinetry and door, and 2 walls in an adjoining stairwell. When sales representative Mike Ortiz bid the job, I made very clear I did not want any paint on my stained woodwork or cabinets. He assured me the crew would not get paint on the either. I believe these pictures, although not inclusive of everything, show some of the paint on both. The three member crew arrived and finished the entire job in four hours, including preparation, two coats of paint, and clean up. While Manny and Fidel made three trips afterward to repair the damage, including painting the ceiling in the butler's pantry which had been marked by the brush handle, some of the damage unfortunately could not be undone. On the last trip I was told the only way to avoid paint on the trim would have been to remove the trim and reinstall. I respectfully disagree, as I have had other painting in the past and there was no paint bleeding or brushstrokes on trim. I believe the damage was completely avoidable with careful and thorough preparation. I felt the crew rushed to finish the job, and while they did vacuum they left before the project manager arrived to inspect. I spent many, many hours this past weekend attempting to remove paint before it could further harden. While Manny and Fidel (supervisors) were very responsive afterward (hence three stars rather than 2), and the non-English speaking crew was very pleasant, I would not utilize Certa Pro in the future nor would I recommend. Their shortcoming was not in the large open wall areas but in the areas requiring care and precision. I did reach out to the office manager on Monday, and suggested the franchise owner may wish to call me before I leave a review, but I have yet to hear from him this Wednesday afternoon. Also, be aware they charge 3.5% for the credit card processing fee, waived only if a 5 star review is submitted."
A simple two color scheme was used on this home to help it fit into its environment. Lighter trim colors will reflect the sun's heat form the wooden trim and provide longevity. We only use premium paints, and Sherwin Williams Super Paint was the product on this project.
We do work on all kinds of homes, just like this older home. The color palette here plays off of the red masonry, with the white trim and dark shutters tying everything together.
A beautiful, modern, stucco and brick home, the garage and trimwork still need protecting from the elements. We can even seal the stucco sections with a coating that will protect their color from fading and the stucco itself from weathering.
Here we see a more contemporary house with a new and improved modern color palette. The darker shutters play well against the lighter colored siding, allowing the architectural features of this home stand out.
This older house got a new coat of paint from your local CertaPro Painters (that's us!). The white trim on blue siding is another more traditional color scheme which works its magic to add curb appeal to any home.

FAQs for deck, fence, patio or porch clean and seal projects in Calhan, CO

You should clean your deck before sealing it. Cleaning before refinishing is critical. If you don’t remove dirt and debris, you'll trap moisture in the wood, which prevents the new sealer from working correctly and can lead to costly repairs. Whether you need to sand, power wash, or sandblast depends on your deck's condition.

Sealing and staining your deck are essential maintenance methods that protect and beautify your outdoor space. Stain adds rich color and guards against fading, while sealant fortifies the wood against moisture and weather damage. Wood type, climate, deck age, and the degree of existing damage determine whether your deck benefits from one or both treatments. Using both options extends your deck’s durability and enhances its overall appearance.

Power washing and sealing your deck costs $500 to $1,700. This process combines the removal of stubborn dirt and debris with a protective seal that preserves the wood’s integrity. Effective cleaning eliminates harmful buildup, and a proper seal prevents moisture damage and wood decay, ensuring long-term durability and reducing future repair expenses.

Your deck must be sealed every one to three years to maintain its strength and appearance. Regular sealing is essential to protect the wood against moisture, mold, and harmful UV rays. A consistent sealing schedule prevents rapid deterioration and costly repairs. Inspections should be performed annually to determine if the protective layer remains intact, extending the life of your deck.

Leaving your deck untreated compromises its structural integrity and safety. An unprotected deck rots quickly due to moisture and environmental exposure, which means that neglecting sealing results in rapid decay and expensive replacement costs of $4,125 to $11,650. Sealing your deck is essential for maintaining its durability and protecting your home.

The sealant on your deck dries within a few hours and reaches full cure within 72 hours before regular use. It is essential to wait until the complete curing period to ensure the protective layer fully sets and resists weather and foot traffic. Proper drying guarantees that your deck is fully protected against moisture and environmental damage, ensuring lasting quality.
