"Bob is my go to guy for any project I need a handyman for. Large or small. Work is highest quality and meticulous. Done right the first time."

"Gaby helped us remodel our kitchen. We wanted to keep our existing custom cabinets but modernize the appearance. Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone and already planning other carpentry projects with him in mind. A+, 10/10, fabulous to work with. Thank you Gaby!"

"Robert Pino and his brother were amazing not only did they do an impecable job building the shed but he also helps do another project redoing the bathtrom in the house. He was very responsive and fast about scheduling us in. I highly recommend them for future projects"

"Larry Devaux did an excellent job on my stairs, despite a short period and quick deadline that i gave him. He worked very hard each day and put a lot of effort and detail into making my stairs look really nice, and he gave a very fair price as well. I would recommend Larry for any home improvement needs"

"We had last painted our house over 10 years ago and it was in dire need of carpentry work and exterior painting. I found it very easy to work with Real Painting from the start - they had solutions to all of our needs and the quote was detailed and easy to understand. The carpentry team was very skilled and their work exceeded my expectations for quality. The painting crew did an amazing job preparing the house for painting. They completely stripped the paint in most key areas and sanded the clapboards to perfection. Their attention to detail was immaculate - from caulking all to way to the finishing touches with our two-tone paint scheme. They also kept the site very clean. Everyone on the team was friendly, easy to talk to, and always showed that they cared for me as the customer. I am very happy with the work from Real - they delivered a great product at a reasonable price and within the expected timeframe."

"We recently completed a gut reno and second story addition. After engaging 10 different contractors, MP was the most communicative, interested, flexible and competitively priced. MP has a large in-house team of experts that work efficiently and adapt to the home owner’s needs and preferences. The employees worked 6 days a week and took great pride in their work. They were personally invested in our project and wanted to make it the home of our dreams. The team includes an amazing designer, Nataly, who helped with selecting finishes. The onsite foreman, Adriano, demonstrated expertise and kindness. Seichelle and Marco did an excellent job with operations, ordering materials and problem-solving. We have been back in our home for 10 months. Anytime I have an issue, Seichelle and the team have addressed it. They have gone above and beyond what is expected. We could not be more pleased with our project. We strongly recommend MP for your next project!"

"We called Emerald Painting after reading all the great reviews on Angie’s List and we are so glad we did! They did an absolutely amazing job. They honestly cared about our condo and wanted their work to be perfect, and put in the time and effort to make it that way. Unlike previous contractors, Paul responded very quickly to my request for a quote via Email and followed-up by phone. Paul was on time, personable and very helpful in giving some advice on color selection. He also got us scheduled quickly and sent David over as the painter in charge who did a great job painting a large living room & dining area, a large closet and the hallway area including two large accent walls. They even fixed a ceiling area in the home office that our previous painter neglected to get right. David was dependable, professional and worked his butt off to get the project done both beautifully and on time. He was very easy to communicate with and so pleasant to have around. He was on time, thorough and went beyond what was required of him I am extremely happy with the service and the results we received from Emerald Painting. The cost was unbelievably fair. I HIGHLY recommend calling Emerald Painting."

"I can’t recommend John and his team enough! He arrived quickly after we contacted him about paint services for our condo and he was professional from start to finish. We had a few questions as to why our building was turning off color, and he took the time to explain the issue in detail and offer a solution. His price was very reasonable and he & his team were helpful, punctual and responsive with all of our questions and needs throughout the whole process. The actual paint job came out great, inside and out. We’re thrilled with the final product! Highly recommend!"

"When I bought my 100+ year old house in West Roxbury, the double-hung windows were the most awful replacement windows imaginable. Not only were they ugly as sin, they were barely functional. Some of them wouldn't close completely, some of them wouldn't open at all, and some of the sashes were crooked. Jeff came out to measure the windows and make recommendations. I replaced all of the double-hung windows with Anderson (wood inside, no-maintenance outside) and other windows with Marvin awning models, as Jeff recommended. He spent a great deal of time with me discussion the options, and then patiently helping me decide on details, such as number of divided lights. The exterior window frames and sills had been clad in aluminum or vinyl, and Jeff explained that there could be water damage underneath. They replace these if necessary with MDF (I believe) on a board-by-board basis, for a reasonable price. After I placed the order, Dennis took over for scheduling and invoicing, and arranging for the building permit. There was a delay of several months because they were booked well in advance. As it turned out, the Anderson windows came in a bit earlier than expected and there was a break in their schedule, so those were done first. The guys who did the work were professional and pleasant, with good communication skills. They cleaned up completely at the end of each day. I had been focusing on function, eagerly anticipating having windows that actually worked, and I was stunned by how beautiful the windows are, and how much better the house looks from the inside and outside. Another unexpected benefit is that the screens are much less visible than what I was used to. The guys did a great job on the frames and sills that they replaced. After the double-hung windows were in, I decided to replace the 3 double-hung windows in the garage, so placed another order. By the time the Marvin windows came in, COVID infection rates had increased to the point that I was concerned about having anyone in the house. Dennis could not have been nicer about waiting to install them until I was ready. The job was completely quickly after I gave them the go-ahead. It's been about 6 months since the job was finished (I should have done this review long ago) and the windows function beautifully. I give Fisher Windows my highest recommendation."

"They removed our rusted railing on Monday and had it reinstalled, good as new on Thursday! Excellent service, and very responsive."
