"We had an excellent experience working with JES to design and install our basement waterproofing system. Our field inspector Bill R. was fantastic -- he spend extended time listening to our concerns about water intruding into our basement, and recommended a system designed specifically to solve our problem, including customized features that no other company had even thought of. Our installation crew, including foreman Joey D, co-foreman Wesley S., and installer Abdul W. were wonderful -- unfailingly courteous, on time, and hardworking. They kept us updated and answered our questions throughout every step of the install. We are so relieved to have the job done, are looking forward to enjoying our guaranteed dry basement, and would happily and unreservedly recommend JES to anyone looking for peace of mind and freedom from worry about water in their basement."

"Absolute professionals. Efficient and well Organized. James the owner is an absolute gem to deal with. I would recommend Always Waterproofing to anyone dealing with a leaky basement."

"We had a basement waterproofing issue. Shopped around a couple of companies. With the best rating on google, and with good reason, Best Buy Waterproofing was our choice. Rob was knowledgeable, diligent, patient and open towards our questions and concerns. Best experience I had with any company rep to date. He came out twice to our place (once the first time to look at the issue, second before he took the work to make sure we all are on the same page.) And then he was there before the work was started to make sure all of us were on the same page. The crew that came out (Darwin, Juan, Raul, Hammie, Chilo) were very careful about their work, respectful, and meticulous. They plastic sealed the work area to prevent dirt, and broom cleaned the area after they were done. Even after the work was done and the transaction was completed, Rob came out to check the work and to make sure it was up to his standard. He olso brought with him the mold treatment up on my request and took care of that as well. Thank you Rob! I highly recommended Best Buy."

"Perfect. I first showed them where I wanted them to go thru the foundation with the electric for the outside unit"

"We had a great experience hiring '58 Foundations to waterproof our basement! Lon was our salesperson, and he came and explained the work that would be necessary to ensure that water would never flood our basement again. We appreciated him taking the time to explain how the whole process worked, and providing us with the option to finance the project to make it affordable for us. We had Brett Boyles and his crew, John and Clarence, come to do the work, and they did a fantastic job! Brett even came to show us the progress in the middle of the project and explained every detail of the work that was being done. He was very professional and we appreciated how he gave us peace of mind about everything once the project was completed. I would highly recommend '58 Foundations for anything basement-related. We appreciate your business - thank you!"

"Roland jr and his crew from MD Waterproofing did a great job under difficult circumstances. A previous renovation by a previous owner dropped the basement floor. What we didnâ t realize is that they had never added underpins so the foundation was undermined. Once Rolandâ s crew broke into a wall to solve a leak, they saw this. They explained the issue clearly and explained the remedy. We were able to quickly get a new quote for the additional work from our company contact, Steve Maney, who was very professional throughout this. Total cost for our house was just over $20k for underpinning two walls and redoing the associated French drains. We will definitely go with MD Water proofing to finish the last two walls, once we have the money saved"

"Initial project: Grade B.  Overall went well.  Only reason for a B is that they noted that they were going to put a trench around my laundry sink as a means to prevent damage if it overflowed.  But when they came back to do the job it wasn't done.  Overall I haven't had a drop of water since the install so that is very good.  The rep was Adam.
- !!!! UPDATE 20131125: Spoke to Jeff Johnson GM, he noted that this wouldn't have been an option in the first place as it could pose a local issue (gray water pumped outside the home.

Warranty: Grade A. Adam (rep) noted to me that no matter where (not through windows or above obviously) water came in (walls or floor) that the warranty would cover it.  Well you don't get the warranty until after the job... and guess what?  Water up from the floors isn't covered.  Not cool.
- !!!! UPDATE 20121125: Spoke to Jeff Johnson GM, he noted that this condition is covered.  My mistake. Grade changed to A.

Basement windows: Grade F.  Called them and had them out to estimate putting in a basement egress as well as the other basement windows.  The rep (Brett) came out, measured, etc.  Then nothing.  I called.  I called.  The customer service team told me on numerous occasions that the "president of the company" was going to call.  He never did.  Eventually, a sub or partner of theirs called me and provided me a quote over the phone (for the egress - the didn't do the other windows).  The quote was blind and didn't take into consideration any of the data that Brett collected during his visit.  This ordeal was a TOTAL waste of my time.
- !!!! UPDATE 20131125: Spoke to Jeff Johnson GM, he noted that this rep is no longer with them and that he should have provided an immediate quote for the windows.  The only time the sub should have called is for the egress...

Customer service: Grade C.  They provided a mold remediation treatment as part of the basement water proofing.  One of my walls not is showing signs of something.  So I called.  Nothing.  No call back.  Nothing.
I regret going with this company.  I should have bit the bullet and spent the extra $$ to go with their competition.
- !!!! UPDATE 20131125: Spoke to Jeff Johnson GM.  He will be out in 2 days to treat the location and noted he will install a hose into my dehumidifier so that it drains into the system.
- !!!! UPDATE 20131127: Jeff was out, assessed the situation and provided a clear path to resolution.  I have homework but his team will be out to solve the problem.
- !!!! UPDATE 20140115 Grade changed to C.  Jeff's team corrected the issue to my satisfaction."

"Total Home Performance is my trusted source for mold, moisture, crawlspace, attic and related issues. They have done multiple projects for me to improve my recently purchased historic home, which had numerous moisture and mold problems resulting from years of neglect and improper work. They encapsulated the old unimproved sections of crawlspace under the house and newer sun porch addition and installed a dehumidifier and sump pump, blew spray foam into the attic, and have consulted on numerous improvements I wanted to make. All these improvements have lowered my energy bills significantly as they indicated, and allowed me to sleep at night, knowing I'm breathing cleaner air now that the crawlspace is clean and encapsulated. Matt, Derek and their team of workers are extremely professional and great to work with. Their prices are reasonable (even coming in below estimate and charging me the lower amount), their workers are neat and considerate, and their work is top notch. It is an extreme pleasure to work with such a professional company in an area where this kind of quality is rare. Many of my neighbors use them and praise them as well. Highly recommended and deserving of a 5-star rating."
