"FANTASTIC!!! Mike reached out to me surprisingly quickly and was super friendly. I wanted two spot/flood lights replaced since one of them wasn't working. Mike came out a day or two after phone call and looked over my job and listened to my needs and wants. Did I say he listened? Yep, a contractor that listened to the customer! Then I was in contact with Dalton to schedule the work but due to the people who sell the lights not understanding the product Mike had to go on a scavenger hunt. The light people were telling Mike that they don't make lights that do what my old ones did. The light people were wrong. Mike and I figured out that what I was wanting was an override from sensor to dusk to dawn. Even still, it didn't take long between first contact to install. It was great to work with Mike and Dalton. Mike explained things he was doing the install and his history and experience made me very comfortable. The job looks great and tests went well. I will use them again for other electrical projects as I don't do electric. I feel comfortable now since a certified electrician did the work. Great people, great service, and very, very pleased. "Bill was very knowledgeable with our lightning rod project. Performed a full installation to our home. The very tall chimney was a lightning magnet, and he used a custom attachment for it and a low profile system to suit our home, did a perfect job with the grounding cable, it can hardly be seen from the ground. He also provided a free inspection to an existing lightning rod system on the barn and our building. Very reasonably priced, and we are very happy with our new investment. "Danny came on a service call to look at an exterior outlet that did not work when I bought my house years ago. He did a lot of detective work to find out where the issue was, and gave me some repair options. He recommended scheduling a new appointment with a half-day deal, rather than continuing the repair with the service call rate. He also gave me a list of supplies that I could pick up in advance to save some time (and money). When he came back, he installed a new junction box, connected the wires to a circuit (it didn't work because the wires were just tied off), and replaced and sealed the outlet. He had to remove and reinstall the dishwasher in the process, and cleaned up the work area well. Danny was very nice, answered all my questions, and took the time to do things right. I never had to contact anyone to do work on our house before, so I looked on Angies list to find a company to do the work we wanted done on our house.  I found several companies in my area that seemed to fill the bill.  I decided to give AJ Door and Window Solutions a call. From the very first Phone call to AJ, it was clear that this is a first class company.  The woman who took my call, Eve, worked with me to set up a time that was convienient for my wife and I to have someone come t our house to give us an estimate for our project.  Derrick, the fellow who came out to give us the estimate was right on time.  First he showed us all the accreditations the company had, as well as pictures of previous homes they worked on. We had other companies come out to give us estimates, but Derrick took the time to listen to what we wanted, not just what they wanted to sell. He was extremely knowledgable about the windows and siding we were looking to have installed. He answered all our questions.  ( i previously researched the windows we wanted so I knew alot about them. Derrick never miss represented anything about them) He also made some suggestions about our window choices that actually saved us money on installation. He then showed us the different types of siding available and explained everything about them. When he finished his extremely indepth presentation, we made our choice of the  windows and siding we wanted. The windows and siding we chose are extremely high quality products. Derrick then measured everything up and gave us our estimate

When we decided to go with AJ, I made it clear to them that we needed to have the work completed within a certain time frame.  Eve assured me that they could meet my time line.   A few days later, 2 other guys, Tom and James, came to take final measurements of everything. About a week prior to actually starting the work, Tom stopped by again just to make sure that everything was in order and to double check everything.  I again stressed the importance of having the work completed on time.  He assured me all would be well.

On the day the work began, the window crew showed up early and John, the crew leader and his

crew of 4 got right to work.  I couldnt believe it, but they got all 18 windows installed in one day!   I watched them and they did the job right.  They took no short cuts in their work.  They had to stay late in order to finish, but when they left, everything was cleaned up and the windows looked great.  John told me I would be amazed at how fast the siding guys worked as well.  He wasnt exaggerating!

The siding crew showed up on time and went to work. That crew was something else! All the remaining siding had to be removed before the house was wrapped in tyvek and re-sided.  Each worker knew exactly what to do.  They were as efficient as could be!  2 days later, our house looks better than new!  New siding, soffit, fascia, gutters and downspouts! everything was cleaned up each day

I would definately hire these people again for any future work.  I'd recommend thiem to anyone who wants a quality product with expert installation and all work is done in a professional manner
