"I am writing Home Advisor to let them know how pleased I am with the service I received from JLC building company. The latest home improvement Jay completed for my wife and I was a combination, carport / deck. I had Jay expand the Inlaw apartment in the lower level of our house. This expansion took over my garage which lead to the need for a carport. Jay constructed the carport with pressure-treated beams and it came out great. However, it was the deck above the carport that really stands out. Jay used composite decking that was secured to the carport. He used fasteners that locked in the decking without the need to drill holes in the decking itself. This resulted in a beautiful deck that did not have hundreds of lines where the screws fasten the decking to the framework. Jay, then recommended a dark railing system that blended in with the surrounding woods. The dark railing is so much better than the white railing we have on the other side of our house. That white railing was here when we purchased the home and it optically closes in the deck and draws your attention away from the natural surroundings. After completing the deck, Jayâ s crew removed a window and installed an awesome slider. The slider gives us access to the huge deck from our middle floor. It has adjustable louvers inside the glass which allows us to view the beautiful outdoors or choose to have privacy without the need for drapes. Jay finished the job with white shiplap inside which accented the living room perfectly. I am not sure what our next project might be but I do know that JLC builders will be doing the work. Rick"

"Greg has expertise in many areas, he "does it all!" As he told me "My work is my life! And I DO Care!!" No question he will give you his best in knowledge, experience, and creativity. And he works non-stop like an Energizer Bunny! He thinks about your projects after hours to find the best solution. My 200 year old house put him to the test! He replaced a rotted out door and entryway, resurfaced a floor, dry walled an area where a sky light had been removed, and reframed the area under a toilet that was caving in, painting along the way. And he is repairing my crumbling deck! Luckily he is a "frugal Yankee" and constantly looks for ways to save you money. And, as he says, he leaves your house cleaner and in better shape than when he arrived. Highly recommend!"

"I can't enough good things about this company! Home remodeling is stressful, I was putting it off for quite a while. Brandon made this process a breeze. He not only was extremely fair with his pricing, his work was FLAWLESS. Believe me I am particular. Along the way he helped with many recommendations for style/design. I highly recommend to anyone looking for any type of home repair/remodeling. Thank you Brandon and Silver Snake Properties!"

"I cannot say enough good things about this company. I booked an estimate with Thaad, and he made me feel so comfortable right off the bat. I've dealt with contractors coming into my home and trying to upsell me on products immediately. Thaad took the time, listened to what I wanted, and sent me an estimate in a timely manner. Once he started the project, Thaad and his team were very clean, and did excellent work. My kitchen looks like it came out of a magazine. I cannot thank Thaad and his team enough!!! I will always go through Granite State Interiors for all my future projects."

Mr. Mom helped us save costs by painting some of his leftover gutter materials so they would not clash with the rental house, and finished the job quickly so we could have it done before more rainstorms caused flooding in the basement.

"He did a good job. It was very good."

"The job went quickly and thoroughly.  John and his partner were personable and professional. Will call them any time I have a roof issue. We have been disappointed by others.
