"Ace Drains was recommended by a handyman (whom I also found on Angie's List as well). Brian contacted me on the day before to schedule a time to come out and start on the needed repairs.  Both Brians (both plumbers ironically were named Brian) were on time and explained what repairs they were told needed to be completed. Once they verified this information they immediately started on the repairs.  The work  was completed in a timely manner without a large mess. They took the time to explain what needed to be done on each task prior to the start of the repair. When they discovered they did not have supplies needed  for some of the repairs they asked if I minded if they go purchase them and return to finish the repairs.  Even with this they still did not take a great deal of time to complete the repairs. Ace Drains did a great job and I will not hesitate to call again when another plumbing need arises."

We recently contracted with 3D Solar for installation of solar panels to heat our swimming pool.  Prior to this David (David Ringo, owner of 3D Solar) met us at our home on time, checked for sun exposure on the roof, and took measurements.  David then sat with us and explained how solar panels work, the pros and cons, and how the panels have improved over the years.  He brought several examples of types of panels on the market today.  He explained how his company installs the panels and tubing. David answered all the questions we had. 

David handled all permitting prior to installation.  On the day of install David arrived ahead of his workers.  His desire is to always introduce his workers to the home owners. David reviewed the install with Justin and Blane.  Justin and Blane worked efficiently and were never idle. David returned later in the morning to check on progress and answer any questions or concerns that may have come up. Once installation was complete, the pool system and pump was checked to make sure that water was being pumped through the solar tubes.  Directions were given on turning the system on/off and precautions to take during cold weather.

Prior to installation the water temperature of the pool was 72 degrees, two days later the temperature had increased.  After a week the temperature in the pool has reached 81 degrees.  The cool front that we experienced recently dropped the temperature for several days but once mild weather returned the temperature rose again. 

Our goal was not to have a heated pool 365 days but rather to enjoy our pool in the early spring months and early fall. The solar panels will provide a heated environment  during March, April, and May and again in September, October, and early November.
