"Terrible and stay away!!! I really don?t like to write reviews about anyone but I felt we were cheated by hiring CH plumbing I ask everyone that want to do business with CH plumbing (Eddie) to reconsider and be careful not to make the same mistake we did. We got a bid to install pressure gage and 2 tankless water heater and remove and discard existing ones! We negotiated the price down $300 less than he quoted us, after he came and inspected the job, and gave us his bid. We paid Eddie before he even started the work (big Mistake on our part) thinking the gentlemen needs the money to by materials and according to him was going to finish late that day. It was 4pm when I got a call from him saying he finished the work but had issue with one heater going off and explained he might need to trouble shoot or as originally said might have to run a gas line to it (about 5 feet away) but he had to go! I was 5 minutes away from the house and asked him to wait he said he left already! When I got home found the control panels for the smart tankless water heaters in my shed didn?t even bother install them or even ask me when called him to ask his reply was supposedly you can bypassed them and there is no need for them!!! (According to him) (first issue) (Second issue) The water pressure was very low and the water is hardly coming out of the faucets! I called to tell him about the pressure issue and explained how these heaters are smart and the digital controls are there for a reason as it?s was recommended by the health department to use them as you can set the water temp to reach 135 as I used them before not to mention it has a nice digital display and you can turn off and on the water heater when going on vacation and so on. He said he didn?t want to drill the wall to install the display!! And will come out on Friday to trouble shoot the one heater and I rescheduled for Tuesday the following week. On late Monday night Eddie texted me that he if he comes out to trouble shoot the heater in question and if he has to run a gas line to it, he will have to charge me a whooping $750 for the work even though his original bid was including running longer gas line to the farthest (over 20 feet away) heater location (didn?t have to after all) when I negotiated the price for $300 less he clearly said he would run the gas line for the closest heater (5 feet away)if it requires if we agree to $200 less and not $300 We refused to accept anymore charges and requested Eddie to finish the job to trouble shoot and install the digital display as it requires in the manual Eddie decided he doesn't need my business!!! _Lesson learned; never pay anyone until the work is performed completely and to your satisfaction _don?t trust what they promise you unless it is in writing as per the conversation and agreement you make with them over the phone _ we will never hire anyone using this platform it seams they have a lot of startups that don?t honor their words so be careful We are very disappointed with this project outcome"

"Extremely polite and professional, was at our house within 1 hour from our initial call. Covered his feet, cleaned up after his work, was very efficient in his work. Pricing was fair and completed the work as agreed, did not try to upsell or add to his initial quote."

"Complete professionals. I work with many plumbers in my line of work, and you can always tell the good ones from the bad. Some are strong on service but weak on communication, while others communicate well but constantly push back appointments. Emergency Drain Pros excels at everything. I’ve used Tony and his team multiple times and consistently receive excellent service."

FAQs for drain clog or blockage clearing projects in Canyon Country, CA

Snaking a simple clog near a tub, toilet, or sink often takes about five minutes. Deeper blockages along the main line can stretch the job to a few hours because the pro must feed extra cable and may need a camera to confirm the pipe is clear. Either way, specialized tools help pros work quickly and keep your drains running for the long haul.

Aggressive snaking can scratch pipes, push debris deeper, or even crack older lines. That risk is low with an experienced plumber who matches the cable size to the pipe and eases the snake through bends instead of forcing it. If you’re unsure of your technique—or your pipes are already fragile—calling a licensed pro is the safest, and often cheapest, move.

Start with simple barriers: mesh screens on every tub, shower, and sink keep hair, food bits, and jewelry out of the pipes. Skip harsh chemicals; a monthly flush with hot (not boiling) water clears light buildup without damaging plastic lines. Finally, practice smart disposal—no grease, wipes, or kitty litter down the drain—and schedule routine cleanings if you have older plumbing.

Roto‑Rooter typically charges a flat $160 to $450 for standard snaking, which may include a quick sewer inspection and basic clean‑out. Exact pricing depends on the clog’s location and complexity. Repairs or part replacements fall outside that flat fee, so ask for a line‑item estimate if your tech spots broken pipe sections or recommends additional work.

Most liquid cleaners rely on caustic chemicals that eat through hair and grime—but they also erode metal and even some plastics over time. Repeated use strips protective pipe coatings and can leave you with leaks or premature failures. If hot water or a plunger doesn’t help, call a plumber for mechanical removal instead of pouring more chemicals down the line.
