"We unfortunately had a horrible experience with Empire Today Philly. From our first appointment the sales associate, Nizar Alwarasneh, could not answer any questions about how the hardwood floors were finished or how the installation process would work. He was more interested in giving me a big show of on how he could get me such a "great" price than listening to me. Because of this, he assured me the hardwood could be installed on concrete slab. It cannot but he either did not know or did not listen to the question. Our installers showed up a week later and knew immediately it was not possible to install in our house. After 4 calls and hours on the phone with Customer Service, I was assured a manager, Edwin Maldonado, would call me within 24 hours to assign me a new sales associate and to help correct the mistake. When I had not heard from him 24 hours later, I called Customer Service again only to learn that Nizar is the only sales associate in my region and that Edwin would likely take 3 days to get back to me. Within the next 3 days I called Edwin 4 times and left 2 voicemails. I still have never heard back from him. I called Customer Service again and they again assured me a new manager, Michael Onorato, would call back within 24 hours. I have never heard from him either despite calling and leaving voicemails. Against my better judgement, I had a second appointment with Nizar. It was clear to me immediately that he did not tolerate being questioned at all. I don't know if it was embarrassment over his mistake or what but he was incredibly rude. He loudly yelled at me, saying I should respect him because he is older than I am when I asked him to explain how he was coming up with the pricing, which was completely arbitrary. He also could not explain the difference between engineered hardwood and solid hardwood - he called a manager, Shawn Wilkinson, to help. By the end of the call, Shawn was supposed to call me back within 24 hours. I never received a call. When we finally decided to cancel, Customer Service told me they would submit the request and one of the managers (Edwin, Shawn, or Michael) would call in 1-3 business days to talk through options. I had zero confidence I would hear back so thankfully Customer Service expedited my cancellation. I should receive a refund within 3-5 business days... Subsequently have spoken to other Empire Today Philly customers who reiterated a similar experience, particularly the sleazy car sales person approach to the initial sales associate assessment. Absolutely would not recommend and will posting this review through multiple outlets."

When they arrived and look at the pool, the estimate was quite a bit more than the ballpark on the phone but it WAS a custom liner and the season was getting late. Lew was very honest about the quality of materials and did not try to up-sell. I paid half up front (which was probably the cost of the liner.) A week later he showed up with a partner to do the work, Within three hours, they were ready for water to be added. After a second load they trimmed the details (skimmer and returns) and they were gone. A few days later, there are no leaks and the pool looks AMAZING. "Buyer beware: shoddy workmanship, nonexistent customer service Save your money and go somewhere else. We have had nothing but headaches since Stardust Pools completed our in-ground pool in Spring 2021. We had a leak in the first year they said was “normal” (untrue) and they failed to successfully address it. They left it uncovered, without connecting the filtration system, causing filthy water to sit for months, which left permanent stains in the liner and stairs, which they have not remedied. We asked them to come back the following year after we noticed the leak was not fixed, which also subsequently caused the liner to detach from the concrete wall. They also attempted to convince us this was “normal,” but the pool kept losing water after it was refilled. The owner, Walter, said he fixed it, but that was not the case. Sure enough, the problem emerged again this year, and the effect was worse. Water had entered the space between the liner and the concrete wall, causing the liner to detach from the top and bulge inward from the sides. Walter again dismissed our concerns, saying this was “normal,” and he encouraged us to refill the pool yet again. The water kept leaking at a rate of an inch a day. He sent workers to our home, and they cut the inlet pipe to the heater (which was also leaking for the second time), detached the pool light, and have left it like this for weeks. As a result, there is no longer any filtration in the pool. The water has turned green and we will — yet again, at our expense — need to treat it with chemicals. Walter does not respond to our messages or phone calls. We have photos, emails and text messages from the inception to document our attempts to remedy the issue, to no avail. I leave this review reluctantly, but I don’t want other people to have the same experience. Shame on us for giving Walter the benefit of the doubt for this long. This was a significant investment that we made and we have been unable to enjoy it since we’ve had it. Don’t waste your money with Stardust Pools."

"Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above."
