"There were extra costs because they had to replace a bunch of my sprinkler heads which I anticipated. We are in a drought and so, I told him what my time zones were and he didn't follow them. The lady on the phone was helpful. They came out right a way. He didn't follow what I had asked him to do as far as the timing. I can only have it go three days a weeks for three minutes per zone and that wasn't followed. I would give them one more chance because the lady on the phone was incredibly helpful."

"Tom was on time for the estimate and gave us a reasonable estimate for the work. His workers were here when they were supposed to be and did a very good job, especially considering digging in our clay soil is like digging in concrete. Tom himself came back a couple of times to make sure all was well and make adjustments to the new sprinkler system. Recently one of the new sprinkler timers went bad and Tom came to our house and took care of the problem. "We met with Jeff in April after not connecting with other contractors the year before. Loved the idea of the larger patio roof with integrated rain gutters and the price was justified. Decided to replace the flagstone patio area and pool deck with pavers and then added on the front walkway as well. Replacing the sliding glass door had always been in the plan. Broke ground right before Memorial weekend, which is when we decided to add on an additional walkway, fake grass, and mow strip. No problem except the flagstone stepping stone walkway was removed prior to our go ahead (my husband had told Jeff he needed to talk to me first). Jeff uses different crews for different parts of projects: paver crew, patio cover crew, rain gutter crew, lawn crew, door installer/handyman at the end. All the foremen of these crews speak English so it was easy to communicate with them and they were very willing to accommodate changes and listen to ideas. The only hard part is that they just show up sometimes to do X, Y, or Z. It wasn't a huge problem but would have appreciated a quick text. The project took longer than expected as Jeff refused the first door sent to him for install because it was damaged (thank you) and then it was back ordered. Meanwhile, other parts of the project were getting done. Overall, it turned out great. My husband and I love it, our friends and family love it, and it has expanded our living space as well."

"They did a great job!  We gave them specific directions to trim the two huge trees off the roof and away from the sidewalk, and they did exactly that, and when we requested they trim a few branches a bit more because they hung over a neighbor's property, it was no problem or additional expense.  There was a very heavy windstorm within a month of the trim job, and a remaining branch snapped and was hanging down.  I called California Arborist and they came out the same day and cut it off, with no additional charge.  The trees were shaped nicely, not just lopped off.  We were very happy with the work.
