It was to put in an underecounter light without damaging the tile back splash and cupboards. He was able to go in thru the existing outlet and did a very fine job. Will definetely use him again. "I had some lighting controllers which were old (previous homeowner had installed), that I wanted checked. Also, I needed the circuit breaker to hot tub checked. The controllers were no longer functional, so will budget to have them replaced in near future. Hot tub circuit breaker was fine, can now have someone come repair hot tub. "I called Excel. First thing they told me was to call electric company. Honestly he stated he could dispatch someone to check it out but it could be an electric company issue and he would have to charge me $140 if he came by no matter what. I told him I would call him back after electric company came by. That was really good advise. After speaking with SDGE they recommended to clean the connections which I easily did. The lights turned back on and have been working without a glitch. He could have come by and charged me as I was ready to pay. Instead I wound up doing an easy fix. They called me later that evening to see how things went. They even gave me a referral to a circuit company nearby to replace any old circuits. These are honest people. I’d recommend them anytime."

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.
