"I was very impressed with the quick response. I had used this company a few years previously for an issue with my dryer and with my dishwasher. In those instances, the service was just as proficient. <br /> I opted to sign up for a program that includes Mr. Appliance and other service companies. I did not regret this. <br /> When I called this past winter with the problem with my washing machine, the technician arrived on time. It did not take him long to find the problem. As stated above, he showed me the part of the mechanism that was worn out/broken, and talked to me about my options: replace the part ($$$) or buy a new washer. I opted to buy a new one from Sears. <br /> I have recommended this company to others. <br />"

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Carolina Beach, NC

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
