"Another great job by Todd. We could not be more pleased with his craftmanship. He started filling in cracks in our driveway and then we realized we had a more serious issue which required lifting the concrete slab in our garage and driveway. It was a long, tedious and hard process but Todd performed exceptionally. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the end result and loved learning about injection technology. Highly recommend Todd for your concrete needs."

"I have rain water undermining the driveway near my attached garage. I reasoned that pumping a supporting substance would not only fill in the "undermined soil", the substance forced in under pressure would also support the concrete driveway. The inspector informed me that my theory would not work and that what I needed was pea gravel inserted into the hole created by the drainage. He seemed quite competent and I accepted his assessment. It was refreshing to have a candid answer rather than "we can do it" even though the attempt would not have solved my issue"

"Most companies that I contacted either did not know how to do concrete driveway repairs or didn’t want to bother with them. East Coast Concrete knew exactly what to do to repair my driveway and did an excellent job. I plan on hiring them for additional work."

"Wow! What a great job! Three other companies said they were unable to even out our driveway where tree roots had caused several tripping hazards, but Roger at Concrete Raising apparently can perform miracles. The final product was a driveway that is no longer dangerous and looks great. He and his assistant were prompt and neat, leaving our property tidied up when they left at the end of the day since the job had to be performed over two days. I would highly recommend Concrete Raising of NC."

"Medina’s Concrete is both professional, courteous, and honest from beginning to end. Mr. Medina sticks to his quotes even if it means doing additional work and/or money coming out of his own pocket. How Mr. Eduardo coordinated multiple concrete delivery trucks and did the work to get the job done on schedule was very impressive. Even when the heavy concrete delivery trucks left deep grooves in our back lawn, Medina employees used the removed top soil to patch up and fill the grooves. Cleaning up after the job was very thorough. My wife and I are proud of the finished work he and his employees have done for us. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone looking for 5 star work!"

"The company called many times and communicated each step of the process. They were on time, early even and did the work in the specified time frame. The work was done well and they hosed every thing off before they left. I was pleased with their skill and their work has added value to my home. They do need to bring a generator as some of their tools over road the circuits at my home. Once I requested this, they brought a generator. They were very easy to work with."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Cary, NC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
