They reassured me that they were getting all referrals from BAP in Berkeley and had me check Angie's and Yelp which confirmed Zuta's reputation. they did an excellent job and I will definitely keep their numbers for any other household repairs. It turns out that BAP is a call center only not an actual business"

"We had the great displeasure of returning from vacation on a Saturday to find our hot water recirculator not working. We then had the great pleasure of talking with a very helpful young lady at Water Heaters Only, who scheduled an appointment, on the following Monday, for a technician to come out for a free assessment and estimate. On Monday we had the further great pleasure of working with the technician, Loni, who arrived on time (after we received a courtesy call from the office letting us know he was on his way). Loni was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and, after examining our hot water heater and broken pump and asking some pertinent questions, he assessed the water heater was fine, but we did need a new recirculator pump. He gave us a written estimate, and explained why he chose the pump he was recommending, which I really appreciated. He also had a good suggestion for how we could easily set it up on a timer, if we wanted, and at a substantial savings. When I asked when we could schedule the work, he said he had a pump in his truck and was available to do the job immediately. I was so glad to not have to wait, since our water heater is at the opposite end of the house from the bathrooms, and we hated wasting all that water, waiting for it to get hot! Loni worked quickly and efficiently, and upon completion explained how the new/updated pump worked, and said to be sure to call if we had any questions or concerns. What started out as a major inconvenience, became a very pleasant experience overall, working with the office staff and with Loni. We highly recommend them and would definitely call again. "I called Absolutely Affordable on a Thursday. We agreed on a time to meet Friday. On Friday Mark (owner and serviceman) and his trusty sidekick, Adam, were running ahead of schedule and asked if it would be convenient for me to have them come earlier. In fact it wasn't. I suggested 2pm, they agreed and then showed up at 1:59. <br /> They looked at my dishwasher, diagnosed the problem, gave me a cost estimate for replacing the pump. They compared the costs of replacing the pump versus buying a brand new dishwasher. They suggested that a new dishwasher of the quality of mine would be a lot more expensive than replacing the pump and their take was that, other than this issue, the dishwasher was fine and didn't need to be replaced. I followed their advice. They sought out a pump, found it, re-quoted a price and then discussed scheduling. <br /> Saturday was a very full day for them but he offered that he could get the pump before their first appointment and then see me between 10 and 11. At approximately 9:45 Adam called to let me know they were finishing up at the previous appointment and would be at my house in about 30 minutes. 10 minutes before they arrived Adam called again to let me know they were almost there.(This is the sort of professionalism and punctuality that I've come NEVER to expect. I was blown away by this level of service). <br /> They arrived, installed the pump wrote out the bill and were ready to leave. I had a question about another appliance. Mark advised that the manufacturer of the product in question offered a lifetime guarantee. If I would take a picture of it and send it along with an explanation, the manufacturer would send me a new item for free. Mark also said he'd and quot;fix me upand quot; with the installation. I'm not sure exactly what he meant, but I believe he meant he'd go easy on the cost of the labor. <br /> From start to finish my experience of Mark, Adam and Absolutely Affordable Appliance Repair was A+++. I will ALWAYS call them first if I have an appliance repair need. (It seems like when I bought my house there was a planned obsolescence on all the appliances of 10 years...so I think I may be using AAA Repair quite a bit in the future. I will do so with complete confidence. I was amazed by their total professionalism...calling me to confirm and update me on their status; their accommodation of my schedule (instead of just showing up like anyone else does, it seems); their punctuality; their friendliness; and, most important, the quality of the service they performed. <br /> <br /> <br />"
