"Fireplace was fine (OPPOSITE of what I had been told by another chimney sweep).  Oil burner side ...not so good.  Flue was heavily cracked and deteriorated.  Entire flue pieces laying at base.  Since this could be a carbon monoxide hazard and I quite often have small children in the house, I didn't think it was anything I should let go unresolved (although I was NOT anticipating spending a couple of thousand dollars at the time).
Bottom line:  New stainless steel liner put in.  Liner secured and resealed top and bottom.  New cap installed - and cracked top cement crown on chimney was replaced with a rubberized product.  Warranty on liner is transferable with the house when/if sold.
While I was not thrilled about hitting my emergency fund for something that you can't SEE, obviously it was important to get it done.  I was eligible for a Senior discount (am I the only one THRILLED to be older when a Senior discount is offered)?  You hit a certain age ... every penny saved helps.
Jon Paul was wonderful.  Not a pushy sales person.  Straight and to the point.  Explained everything in detail.  Personable.  My 4 year old great niece was with me for an overnight visit and she immediately took to him.  (Pay attention to the little ones ~ they're very good judges of character). 
I will recommend them at every opportunity and call them again if the need arises.  Five Stars from me!!!"

"Big Deal from UGI Heating Cooling and Plumbing's service was excellent. Everything was good. They were on time. It was a very nice young man. He cleaned everything, cleaned up after himself, he discussed everything with me, he let me know the status of the heating system and approximate age and, of course, how long they usually give them before they break down. And it's time to replace it, needless to say, and he said he would pass the message along and have a gentleman call me to do some investigating as far as prices and what it would cost to replace. Their price was excellent with the coupon. You can't be that."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"They arrived on time. Responded with 3 personnel. They removed the old freon immediately and removed the outside and inside unit. It was hot and humid, but they did not complain. The attic is no place for a human in this heat. They prepared the site for the new air handler, installed it quickly and had the system up and cooling in no time.
A slight problem arose after they left at 6 PM in the evening, and they sent a very gracious and professional technician and in fact the installation supervisor responded, after hours!
They had the system running again, and found a faulty part was the problem, not their fault.
The next day they came back to see if the system was working correctly and even cleaned the area of the install more and they did not have to, they gave 110%.
I use and would use UGI for all my heating, cooling needs, they are excellent.

"Chris of CM Contracting contacted me promptly to schedule an appointment to discuss the projects.  He conveniently scheduled an evening appointment to meet with me.  We reviewed the projects and he offered advice on the door that would work best in my home.  When the materials were in, Chris contacted me to schedule an appointment to complete the work.  At the scheduled time he arrived promptly with an electrician and 2 others to complete the work professionally and promptly.  They installed a toilet, a ceiling fan with a remote, a hallway fixture and a bi-fold door.  They did excellent work, removed the old items and cleaned up the areas they worked in.  I just moved to the area and I am extremely pleased to find a contractor who does excellent work at a fair price. Chris followed up with a phone call to make sure that I was satisfied with the work completed.  I highly recommend CM Contracting and plan on using them again for big and small projects in my home.

"Roof framing and siding went great. They did not start when they said they would but it wasn't long after that. Then Super storm Sandy hit and I guess they were very busy with emergency repairs. (no damage to my house from the storm) It took over a month till the porch posts and railings got replaced and then they were done incorrectly. I had to have them come back and install the correct angled brackets for the railing from the porch to the sidewalk, and that took a few more weeks.

"He is actually scheduled to come out pretty soon again.  We spent a couple of hundred dollars on that service.  We just think that he is good at what he does.  He just comes right up and talks to us about whatever the issue is that we have.  We own two sides of the twin house and we have had him work on both sides.  We will call him again because we need some other stuff done.  We think that his prices are fairly competitive.  He is a little bit hard to get a hold of."
