"Needed to replace culvert and cover with asphalt. First - Jason came on-stie to look at the job. He explained the work needed and the process. J&K does not do asphalt but did arrange to have asphalt laid. Was extremely nice to deal only with Jason and not have to worry about finding someone to do the asphalt work separately. All included in one quote. Second â Received quote for the work promptly. Third â J&K Installed the culvert and new asphalt, completed in a reasonable time. Weather delays. Fourth â Found out there was a second problem which caused the old culvert to fail. Needed the drainage ditch cleaned out because over the years it had filled in with dirt. The water was not running as it should. Jason investigated what it would take to correct the issue and made a recommendation. Give us a quote for the work and start immediately. We are VERY satisfied with all the work they have done. Special note -J&K work crew cleaned up after themselves each day. One more thing I need to say about this job site. Exceedingly difficult because of the drainage issue, but Jason and his team stayed the course, took their time and the water is running off. Their work is very professional. Looks WONDERFULL. Would highly recommend J&K Gound Maintenance."

Premium Drainage & Erosion Solution came out, assessed the problem and installed a French drainage system. Professional, tidy, and worth every penny. Drainage work can be messy and they were incredibly respectful of my yard and kept the site clean every day. They took the time to explain the work and exactly where the drainage points would be. They didn't just throw gravel in a trench; they engineered a real solution. If you want the job done right, hire these guys! Great communication and the crew was very hardworking, professional and did excellent work - such a pleasure which is not common these days. "I hired RLD Builders to construct a retaining wall that needed replaced before we could repave the driveway. RLD Builders came in with a competitive price and won the job. What was to take a few weeks turned into a three month ordeal. The county permit process caused hurdle after hurdle to get the permits but Rafe kept on the county and we finally got the permits and the job was completed to our satisfaction. We then put the house on the market for sale and had moved to our new out-of-the-area location. The hot water tank in the basement decided to let loose causing major damage to the basement. This is where RLD Builders exceeded our expectations. Rafe and his crew jumped in and cleaned up the water damage, worked with the insurance agents to get approvals, and completely rebuilt our basement. "Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
