"Rapid Response devised a solution to install a sump pump and drainage system in our frequently flooded basement. Their prices were in line with or better than other estimates and worked through a few obstacles. The proof, however, was in the dry basement during two (so far) downpours that would have definitely left us bailing water in the past. In addition, both the owner and his workers were unfailingly helpful, polite and considerate, leaving the space cleaner than they found it! We highly recommend them."

"I recently bought a 1968 ranch home. The front and back porches and areas of the foundation were in dire need of major repair and resurfacing. I also wanted a color stain applied to the porches and the foundation when the masonry was complete. From my initial conversation with Serena, to the very detailed estimate, and throughout the job to completion, I was very happy with the timeframe and the quality of the work. Serena and Bo answered my many questions along the way. They were a pleasure to deal with; and, I am very happy with the outcome. I learned a lot about masonry from my many questions and their thorough responses. This is a family business that exhibits an attention to detail, honesty and to customer service that is hard to find these days. I realize that my project was small compared to their usual scope, but I was treated with professionalism nonetheless. I would not hesitate to recommend them."

"We have a basement that looks like new. The walls are all newly water-proofed, foundation cracks are sealed, and ceiling joist gaps are filled in to help increase energy efficiency. It is a huge relief to know that our water issues have been addressed."

"Aidan and his whole team at Sunnyside Masonry we fantastic to work with. We had started a patio project a year ago with another contractor who walked out on us with a deposit leaving us a pile of rubble. Aidan and team came in and transformed that into a beautiful brick patio with a an access door to our basement. Their attention to detail in the job and care and respect for our space generally couldn't have been better. Aidan was great about communicating through the process, helping us make decisions along the way. The whole team know their stuff and and it's clear they take pride in their work which really shows. We probably have a few more masonry projects in the future and we will definitely be hiring Sunnyside, and highly recommend them for any masonry related project. From our experience it's hard to find a good contractor in NYC and Sunnyside more the exceeded our expectations."
