After spending 15 minutes walking all over the house, he insisted on gaining access through a toilet in our upstairs was his only option. That would triple the price. The man was abusive, called my 85 year old mother "You're a cheap customer". Not to mention that he said several other derogatory comments to her and myself. As he left our home, yelling and causing a scene in front of neighbors, my mother pleaded with him to at least snake out the drain for her so she can use her kitchen and so the upstairs resident can use their toilet. He refused. When I reminded him that I had already paid for this service in advance through Angie's List and that I will leave an honest review he said, "You are not a plumber, so you don't know what you are talking about. I can easily counter your review... We know what come back to use for anything you can throw at us." Even knowing that my mother (the homeowner) is old and living on a fixed income, did not move him. He drove away without performing any service, even though I have already pre-paid. When a promise is made for a price and the promisor accepts money in exchange, a contract is made.
