"They are great.  They have great prices, the whole nine yards.  They are very fair, very reasonable, and thorough.  He is a nice guy.  It's a home town thing and it is small.  We use them all the time.  We use them for almost everything outside the dealership warranty stuff.  We have been using them probably more than 3 years.  All my neighbors use them.  What they charged us for the wheel change was ridiculously low.  The guy is definitely not out to rip anyone off and they do great service.  There is so much going on over there.  It's very small and it's full of people.  The whole town wants to be there.  It is one of those kinds of places.  They are very cheap.  The guy across the street from me lost his job.  He lost everything and Gary's hasn't taken payments from him.  Nobody does that anymore."

"Emailed All Weather Mechanical on a Sunday and was contacted the same day by the owner Floyd. It was not an emergency so we set up an appointment for the following day and received a confirmation email to remind us. Floyd called early the day of the appointment to see if it was okay to come earlier than scheduled. He diagnosed, removed and replaced a capacitor that had gone bad quickly and was courteous and professional during the whole process while answering all of my questions. He even left the part he replaced with us so that we physically had possession of it. We will definitely call them for any future HVAC needs."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Cedar-island, NC

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
