"EZ Plumbing did an amazing job installing my brand new tankless water heater with built in recirculation pump!!!! I used to have to wait a couple minutes for hot water, now it's only about 10 seconds!!!! I highly recommend EZ Plumbing for all your plumbing needs! The 2 technicians that installed my new tankless were very professional, answered all our questions, and were very genuine and honest people. Can't recommended EZ Plumbing enough!!!"

"Repair was completed, but with a faulty connection in gas control valve. May/may not have been repair man's fault. Regardless, it caused a gas leak. House was filled with gas, water heater had to be shut off again, so we went with cold showers for another day/day and a half waiting for the repair man to return and resolve the leak. Eventually he did resolve the leak at no additional cost and was apologetic for the inconvenience. Disappointing because this was the exact reason I paid for a repair as opposed to installing the gas control valve myself."

"On 1/22/2013 Tony Hall from Covenant Heating and Cooling came to my home to check out my heating unit.  Tony arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment and displayed and clean and neat, professional appearance.  When he came into my home, he put booties over his shoes so he wouldn't track in dirt.  When he went to the HVAC unit, he found my problem in about 5 minutes.  Tony said that he would have to order the part.  On 1/23/2013 Covenant called and said that the part was in and I scheduled and appointment for 1/24/2013.  On 1/24/2013, Tony was again early for his appointment and had my HVAC repaired in about 15 minutes.  I was very impressed with this company and Tony Hall. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Centerville, TN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
