"BFC Files a Lien on your property before the Job is complete. Liens are on your Real Estate Title Record permanently. I can understand filing a Mechanics Lien when someone does not pay their bill. My service was an Insurance Claim and BFC advised they would work with my Insurance Company, Who was never able to reach anyone there. BFC has you sign a document that authorizing your Insurance to pay them directly then they drop off a bill at your home stating, DUE NOW and file a lien. I'm so glad I did not continue with this company to reinstall my damanged flooring. They had already filed a Lien on my property for the Water Removal. Never once advised me of this action. Check Sec of State website, you may have a Lien on your property."

"We hired Modern Edge Construction in July 2025 for a full-gut renovation of our 1895 home, completed February 2026. What began with promise devolved into chronic delays, erratic attendance, and substandard workmanship once the owner assumed finishing duties. When concerns were raised, we were met not with accountability but invoices, evasiveness regarding material costs, and unprofessional, manipulative correspondence?including threats. We have many more pictures and videos. We paid for professional craftsmanship, but we received an eight-month DIY job."
