"I have 6 old chairs that I love because they swivel and rock. We have them in the breakfast room. Over time the mechanisms stopped working (these are perhaps close to 20 years old). All new chairs seem to be straight legged. I could have ordered new chairs from this store (they do custom new work, too) but my bucket seats were fine. It took about 2 and a half months for the new bases to come in, but they have custom made wooden legs. 
A few months later I noticed that three of the castors were broken and one was the wrong size. I only use 4 of the chairs on a regular basis, and three of the damaged ones just happened to be on the chairs I stored. I called the store and emailed photos of the castors. With no questions asked, they ordered the new castors AND came to my home to replace them. This is just excellent customer service, especially as I had had the chairs back for months. Nice.

"Mike at the Carpenter LLC was professional and courteous and did a quality job in structural fixes to my rowhouse first floor. Mike proided a very good initial estimate that increased significantly due a change order for additional work and complications to the initial scope due to soil issues in the crawlspace. Mike was a great sport about working in the very low crawlspace. Areas of improvement for service include timeliness and communication. Although plauged by heavy rains, I was rarely given timely updates and had to significantly delay plans for other projects on the home as a result."

"I contracted with Quality Improvements to build a large deck. The build site is on rough sloping terrain. Mr Mariano Siles oversaw the project and in fact did most of the work. He was very personable and patient in explaining to me the challenges and his proposed solutions. "We purchased the unlimited consultation package. Amanda is very friendly and professional. We struggled because we were looking for someone to consult with out of the box ideas. Once she understood our vision she could move forward, but innovation was not her strength. We paid an additional amount for drawings. These were detailed, and while not all changes were made as requested, we were able to get some value from them. In hindsight, I would not pay $99 for drawings. Any cabinet retailer will do these for you for free, which I did not know until afterwards. The company wants you to spend time telling them about your style, which ours is Country French. The first cabinet rendition we received was black expresso. We did a complete kitchen tear out so this may work fine for smaller jobs or if you have done this before. It just didn't work for us with distance and what we needed. I was able to find someone locally that sold the cabinets we wanted and she was a wealth of information and things moved much faster. Good luck to HMD. It's a good idea and the person we dealt with we liked personally."

"Had to take care of some items to sell my house: 1) Paint the soffit and fascia of the house 2) Caulk/seal multiple spots on the outside of the house (including AC line) 3) Repair/replace damaged/rotted wood around outside of two windows 4) Repair some loose shingles on the roof Gary was very responsive and came out to my house within a couple days of me requesting a quote. I got a very fair price and the work done was good. My windows had crown molding on the outside of them, which REO ServicePro replicated and replaced. The guys that came out were personable and got things done in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely call them again if I need anything else done."
