From choosing the color of the cabinets, the style, the countertops, etc they were so patient and understanding! Their prices beat almost everyone that we got quotes from. "What I liked in addition to their workmanship, which was outstanding is that they had an office I could go to instead of communication on the phone or waiting on someone to get to my home. I liked that all expenses, materials, everything regarding the work was written down in a contract and thoroughly and explained to me, there were no surprises with any additional costs, etc. They were very thorough when prepping for the job in that they did all repairs and touch ups prior to beginnig. They used high quality materials when replacing the Fascia boards. The amount of time they stated it would take to complete the work was 8 days and they were spot on. They came everyday and worked a full day."

"While Michael the owner was responsive when it came to the actual scheduled job he sent a much junior technician whom I certainly did not expect because he did not tell me. They were supposed to contact me before he showed up but there was no advance call, luckily I was home at the time. The tech did his job and was about to just leave without showing/telling me about how it works or what he installed. I had to ask him about the installation so I can be sure I knew how the equipment operated and if there's anything I needed to know about the install. In the end my opinion is the attic fan was a waste of money and my time. We don't notice any difference in the interior temperature of our house when it's hot. When I inquired about a refund (within 30 days of the install), Michael said he would offer $89 refund for the equipment and not the install. And to think if I didn't use Angie's list, this would have cost me several more hundred dollars. An expensive lesson learned!

"3 Star Painting was super.  I needed the wood portions of my father's home painted in advance of anticipated El Nino weather in the Southern California region.  Marty walked the property with me and identified precisely what needed to be done.  He didn't attempt to upsell me.  He gave me a fast and very fair quote.  He and his team showed up on time, finished the work on schedule and was responsive throughout the entire process.  I will use him again in the future and am happy to recommend him.

"This was our second use of Action Services. Gilbert quickly re-installed pop ups in our bathroom sinks that a contractor had done incorrectly. He replaced a fill valve in a toilet with parts we provided to save money. And as our experience from a year ago, he asked if there was anything else he could check while he was here. So he checked the hot water heater and a slow drain.  Ver professional service, friendly, prompt. We will use them exclusively."
