"Excellent! I called Thompson's Masonry for an estimate on chimney work. Bob came out within 45 minutes of the phone call and determined that we needed some repairs on our chimney, not a complete rebuild as had been told to us by other companies that had come out (rebuild prices ranging from $1500 to over $4000!). He also pointed out some tuckpointing that needed done on other brick on our house. He said he could do the work the next day. The price and timing were perfect, so we hired him. He showed up the next morning when he said he would (he was even a little early...bonus points!) and worked all day. He communicated with me throughout the day re: the progress. He was always courteous, respectful, and just a nice guy! The whole process was a positive one. The finished chimney and tuckpointing look great! I am so thankful I found Thompson's Masonry on Angie's List and we have already recommended him to friends who need masonry work. "I hired Northeast Ohio Renovations to vinyl side my house in the summer of 2016. Their price was fair and the quality of the work was good. Only problems I had with them was they dropped off the materials for the job around 2 or 3 weeks before they started to work. So all those large boxes were in the way until they started the job. After they finished the job they took about 2 to 3 weeks to pick up the material they left at my house. So that material was in the way for some time also. This September, 2018, some of the siding was damaged when a large tree branch came down on all the wires going into my house and pulled the wires away from the house. A picture of the damage is attached. I called Northeast to see if they would come and repair the damage. Bob finally got back to me 2 weeks later after I left numerous phone messages. A few week after that he came and looked at the damage. He said he could repair it and would get back to me when he could do it. After not hearing from him for 6 weeks I called him a few times and left messages for him to get back to me with a date to do the work. I never heard back from him. One of the questions I asked the companies I interviewed for the siding job was "Will you be available in the future to do repairs if they are needed?". He answered they were available and did repair work on their jobs. Unfortunately for me this turns out not to be true. In summary, Northeast Ohio Renovations did good work at a fair price but does not provide after the job support."
