His crew showed up on the date that he stated that they would start the work. No BS like other contractors out in the Pittsburgh area. As a law enforcement officer in Pittsburgh, PA I am very skeptical who I hire to do work at my home. I trust G&J Waterproofing to get the job done and correctly. They communicate with you during the job which is very rare for other contractors out there. The work done to my basement is waterproofing and they parge the basement walls. "This is the second time I’ve used Advanced for my basement waterproofing needs and they were again fantastic. Work was done well and it was easy to schedule. They are low pressure so if you have a project and just need to get an opinion, reach out to them. Chris is great and very attentive and helpful. Both of my waterproofing jobs still cost less the the initial job from one of the big companies, so I was really pleased with their work and price. They did a nice job cleaning up (but concrete dust gets everywhere so I still have work to do). Highly recommend!!!! I also live in a township with strict permit codes and they knew to check and help with that process (the other company did not)."

"The employees that arrived to do the work were good workers. They were either unaware of the contracted work or mislead. They were not going to install the J Channel per the service agreement, and they had planned to backfill the ditch with the earth they had removed. The contract called for the ditch to be filled to surface with gravel. The installers called the office and explained that a J Channel was agreed on and someone from the office delivered it to satisfy my request. They were going to install the J Channel in segments vs one solid piece across the length of the ditch. I told them the segment seems would allow the water to get thru the J Channel and weep thru our foundation once more. They did the work as I requested but had I not been there or had I been a customer that did not know any better, this job would not have been done correctly or as agreed upon in the contract."

Kris was the service advisor that came out recently and he was prompt, friendly, and very thorough! Kris explained in detail to me the issues with my basement and offered various options for mitigation and repair of my water and structural issues. Kris was honest about the scope of their work and left the decisions up to me about what I thought I could afford and handle at this time. A few years ago, I had Bakers Waterproofing do some work for me in another part of the basement. Jessie was my service advisor at that time and he was also excellent! He was able to locate the immediate source of water coming into the basement from a spring outside. He showed me all the issues with my basement, however I chose to take care of part of the basement as the other part was not crucial at that time. "The guys that came and did the actual work were very nice and did a great job . The problem was the management from Bill and down to Travis , my basement has a toilet that could not be moved .. well by the floor being jackhammered damaged the toilet it now leaking because of hairline cracks at the base , after contacting Travis and sending pictures to him their response was we will send you $100 and you can buy a new toilet ! When Bill bid the job he made sure to tell me about how they are insured up to 2 million dollars Thst $100 dollars doesnâ t really buy a toilet and then the cost of getting someone to install it will be hundreds more for that reason of them not wanting to take care of what they damaged I would not recommend ABC to anyone they got their money snd could have cared less about my issue !! Poor communication with this company and also the broom swept my basement I sm still trying to clean up the mess and it has been 2 weeks very disappointed ! I guess I should say buyer beware !!"
